What a beauty!
At the time of purchase, this was $203. I know the N100 CPU is not exactly a speed demon, but that's not the point. I have several mini PC's with something along the N100 line (N95, N97, N100, N150) and they're perfectly viable processors for day to day tasks like streaming video, web browsing, various productivity applications, and light gaming. Of course, the N100 is known for its power efficiency. With a TDP of only 6W, you could get 10 of these chugging along using the same combined power as a single incandescent light bulb. Of course, it does use more power when it steps beyond its base frequency, but if you're not taxing it, it's insanely efficient. And as long as you're not looking for a lot of CPU-intensive things like Suricata, they make great CPUs for custom router/firewall appliances. That's what I bought this for. One of my other N100 mini PC's is already running Proxmox with several containers for Pi-Hole, Home Assistant, Ubiquiti Network Server, and an intranet web server. And it's never really running more than about 2% CPU utilization, so it's plenty for your home network needs. The fact that it's fanless means that it's perfectly silent, and it can be incredibly compact since it doesn't have to worry about airflow. The exterior is metal to encourage heat dissipation and it feels great as a result. Really nice solid weight to it and only about as big as my hand. The edges on the top are a bit on the sharp side, partly owing to the heat dissipation pattern, but it's no big deal. Power adapter is 12V 3A USB-C. Unfortunately one of my only complaints revolves around this. The USB-C port for the power adapter and the USB-C data port are on the same side of the device, one in the middle and one in the corner. I assumed that the one in the corner was the power port since that's where power ports usually are, but nope! Note that they ARE labeled, they're just hard to read. I've installed OpnSense on this one, so here's the thing with that so that you can save some time -- the NICs are Realtek RTL8125's which are not supported natively in FreeBSD, so after installing the software and loading up the console menu, you won't see any interfaces. To get around this, you'll need to (temporarily) use a USB network adapter like this one (cheaper ones are out there, but this one is nice because it has a USB-C pass through and supports 2.5Gb). Plug it in, and plug into the network through that adapter. Reboot back into the console menu, select Assign Interfaces, and you'll see the adapter as probably "ue0". Assign that to WAN, leave LAN empty, set an IP address (or leave as DHCP as appropriate), and you should be good to go. Log in to that WAN IP from another machine on the network, install the latest updates, and then go to the Plugins menu and install the one called "os-realtek-re". Once that's installed, go back and reboot the box, remove the USB adapter, go into the console menu, and Assign Interfaces again. Now you should see "re0" and "re1". Assign them as you see fit, and you're all set! You can get N100 mini pc's for cheaper than this. But you'll end up with something cheap feeling and plasticky, probably with only one NIC or maybe dual 1Gb. Just the feel and the shape of this machine makes it worth the money compared to the others, but the dual 2.5Gb NICs and the fanless design makes it really great.

Quality Mini PC for a Linux based router/firewall/PBX
I purchased a MeLE QuieterDL 4GB RAM, added a Silicon Power M.2 NVMe SSD. I chose 4GB RAM since that is more than enough for a Linux router/firewall/PBX project. After limited testing, I am pleased with the MeLE QuieterDL, a reasonable value at $146 USD + free shipping. Being fanless and 2x 2.5Gb NICs was the key selling point. Idle power is 7 Watts, (No video connection, disabled WiFi, eMMC and HD Audio in the BIOS) The 2.5Gb Realtek RTL8125 NICs do not have a registered MAC vendor ID, it would be nice to see "MeLE" as the vendor. Temperatures are reasonable, for example at idle with an ambient temperature of 23C: -- Adapter: ISA adapter Package id 0: +45.0 C (high = +105.0 C, crit = +105.0 C) Core 0: +42.0 C (high = +105.0 C, crit = +105.0 C) Core 1: +42.0 C (high = +105.0 C, crit = +105.0 C) Core 2: +42.0 C (high = +105.0 C, crit = +105.0 C) Core 3: +42.0 C (high = +105.0 C, crit = +105.0 C) -- I was somewhat surprised how the box is hardly warm, albeit no video or heavy CPU processing. Attached is a photo looking inside, note a bracket with a white "pad" pushes on the underside of the N100 forcing contact to the heat spreader. After limited testing, my only negatives so far: * The lack of a "buzzer" (there is a spot on the board, but not populated) * The 12VDC power adapter uses a Type-C connector instead of a barrel jack. This makes the power adapter unique, and could damage random USB-C devices if accidentally connected. All in all, the MeLE QuieterDL is worth consideration for your Linux router/firewall/PBX project.

I thougth i found the one but talk about a let down, SMH.
This mini pc is a very cool concept, however i ran into two MAJOR issues after 6 months of use that caused me to only give it 2 stars. As soon as i got the device i replaced the stock NVMe(thanks but no thanks) with one of my own and immediately installed Fedora (Windows is evil and makes everything worse). The mini pc has done all that i asked of it which isnt much. This mini pc is connected to my TV and I use it as my primary means of entertainment i.e movies, tv shows, web browsing and school work. Everything was going wonderful when one day the mini pc wouldn't power on after a routine weekly reboot. i spent two hours trying to figure out why the mini pc wouldn't power on. I happened to have an extra official Raspberry Pi 5 power cable so i tried that in the power that is clearly marked 12v with no luck. i eventually tried the other USB-c Port with power delivery and presto it powered on. I was glad that it powered on so i figured i got a bad power supply. the possibility of a dead power supply and USB-C power port is perplexing seeing that i keep the mini pc plugged into a UPS for surge protection and the ability to shutdown properly in case i lose power. i know the official Raspberry Pi 5 power cable was good cause it was brand new out the box and i tried it on my raspberry pi 4 and it powered on. i am not technical enough to open the mini pc to diagnose a bad power chip but i am utterly DISAPPOINTED. the mini pc fulfilled all my requirements, it's small, has enough memory(32gbs would've been sick), 2.5gb nic standard and it handled 30 open tabs in a web browser, doesn't get hot at all and it sips power; POE would've also been sick on this mini PC. The mini pc has been functioning for now but i am half expecting the power delivery USB-C port to eventually die at which point i'll have a $219.99( seller $20 coupon) paper weight. I purchased my device on Jan 19, 2025 and to have such major issues after 6 month is EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!! Thankfully the mini pc isn't running anything critical in my network but i really had high hope for this mini pc. I gonna put this in my junk drawer once my Asus NUC gets here, i should bought just bought the NUC in the first place

opnsense works. Just update network interface drivers
I tried to install the opnsense firewall software for my home office on this small server. It installed but did not find any network interfaces. I found that a new driver was needed for the RTL8125 2.5Gb nics. I had to transfer an updated driver via a usb drive. Once I installed it into the freebsd system it found the nics. An update of opnsense brought a newer driver that is part of the newer release. Since then its been running perfectly.

pfSense cannot be installed
Tried to install pfSense 2.7.2. Install finished and system booted, but then was halted due to the fact that it cannot recognize Network Adapters. Tried to install pfSense 2.8.0, and install failed completely with error" Cannot connect to installer.

Low power draw.
Excellent low power computer. Fanless. 2.5gb realtek nics. Ran just fine in my 95 degree garage this summer as 2.5gb router/firewall.

EXCELLENT PC MINIATURE

X86 OPNsense Router for 2gig internet
Appears to be an okay mini PC to run opnsense as a router in a 2.5gb network, but both it's network interfaces are realtek which make it more in-depth to setup with proprietary driver's. Plenty of power for intrusion prevention

Fantastico, un gioiello
Un gioiello. Piccolo, leggero, ben fatto. Ho preso la versione più economica, con emmc. Apprezzo la licenza di win11 inclusa e il fatto che l'installazione è pulita. No adware, no bloatware.

The 4gb version is great for firewall or things like OpenWrt
Very impressed with the build quality and the response from support. If you end up buying this QuiterDL make sure to update the BIOS. You have to contact support as the bios has not been uploaded to their website for this model. I hope they fix this. The bios is also fully unlocked, there will be more options than you know what to do with. This is also great as sometimes you need some advanced option and the fact that it is there when you might need it is good. I really like this brand and the pricing is perfect for what you get. I do wish there would be expansion slots as there is plenty of space for it and unused pci lanes but fort 150 euro this is a great mini pc.
