I've had dogs for about 40 years. I've always just used a shovel for the weekly poop pickup. Usually done right before I mow, which means I'm picking up week old droppings buried in tall grass which is sometimes impossible without digging up some grass. On some occasions I've used my garden rake but they're just too big to be efficient. This is exactly what I was looking for. The tines are rigid and just the right spacing so the objects don't fall between the gaps. It's also strong enough to get deep down in the grass and pull up the wedged in peices that have been buried all summer because the shovel can't get to them. This also works on the garbage that builds up. Chewed up dog toys. Stray leaves etc. The shivels big enough to hold several scoops before needing to empty. Also I noticed that matter does sometimes get impaled on the tines, but the rake and handle are strong enough to hold up to a good whack on the top of the bucket to dislodge it without bending or breaking. The poles are just the right length so I don't need to bend over Glad I found this. At such a low price, I didn't think I would be such good quality.

This is a good product! Whatever material the base is washes really easily so it doesn’t stink up the yard and hasn’t gotten rusty being outside. It’s not the biggest, I also have 3 dogs so they poop a lot, but it does the job!

This pooper scooper set has been a great purchase. This has lasted us a couple of years now and it is still going strong. We previously had one with a wooden handle and it broke down over a couple of years, but we have left this one out in the elements (snow, rain, wind, etc.) and it has held up beautifully! Easy to put together, easy to use, and holds a decent amount in the shovel. Definitely recommend if you have dogs too - this may even be useful for a barn with outdoor dogs, or even mini-horses for spot cleaning.

My primary complaint is one handle is much shorter than the other. Also a little more length would make it more comfortable to use. I still have to bend over some to use this. Sometimes it’s just as easy to use a bag to bend over and pick up the poop.

Sturdy, easy to use, and saves my back (and my dignity). My dog drops landmines like it’s his job, and this scooper handles them like a pro. Bonus: I feel oddly powerful wielding a rake just for poop. Highly recommend.

Well constructed, but needs a flat shovel blade rather than a rake.

This kit is fantastic, so easy to assemble too. Poo-picking used to be a back-breaking chore. Now I've got this rake and scoop, the job is quicker, far less messy and so much easier. So happy I don't have to get up close and hands-on with my dog's waste any more. My advice..... treat yourself!

Great product, grandson loves helping ‘picking up the Pooh’ when the tool is shortened 😀
