It's a Love/Hate Relationship!
I hated that I NEEDED this pillow, but LOVED how it worked for me!After my eye surgery, I was required to stay face down for several days in a row. It was a horrible task, but this pillow helped make it bearable. The pillow is soft and comfortable (for being face down), and the adjustable 'blocks' made it easier to move around and be as comfortable as possible. The material is so soft and I didn't worry about scratching my face. The only downside was what I would call 'legs' on the pillow. The extra length of padded pillow that I wasn't sure what to do with. That being said, the legs were never a problem and easy to move out of my way if needed. This pillow is worth it!!!

Worked after eye surgery just fine!
I bought it for my mom who had detached retinal surgery, and she had to lay face down because she had a gas bubble. And she had to lay down all day for weeks! It was awful, but this pillow helped with her back and her shoulders in bed and keeping her face open so she could breathe while being faced down.

Comfortable pillow
I bought this because i have neck issues and right now i can't lay any way but face down. This pillow is a lifesaver in that respect. I was a little iffy about the legs holding through the night, but they're very sturdy and don't shift at all. It's not a perfect solution for small reasons. One, the face hole isn't quite the right shape. Where the forehead rests should extend a tiny bit more and the sides are a bit too wide. If those things were fixed it'd be a perfect fit. As is, it's passable and definitely allows me to sleep. It is elevated enough to allow air in, but it does still get stuffy quick. I have to point a small fan to keep the air flowing.Again, it's passable, but could be better if they could somehow make it with a fan or something. Built into one of the legs. But that would make the price go up, I'm sure. What would make this absolutely perfect would be an add on that would support the torso well. It's very difficult to find the right placement of supportive pillows to allow comfortable sleeping.

This pillow helped me through recovery
I had retina surgery and had to lay flat ..facing down. I tried everything, and ordered this pillow. It came and I was able to position correctly. The fabric is soft but irritated my face so I put some soft hand towels on it. It really helped me ,in a bad time.

Very small
The model in the picture must be pretty small. I'm 6ft tall and the bottom hardly goes past my neck. The stands are only Velcro and you have to sleep without moving a whole lot to keep it steady. Overall it works though.

Too expensive
Did not like the color. It does not match the picture. Also, had weird chemical smell

Life saver
I was very glad to have ordered this before having macular hole surgery. Being face down for 8 days is not easy. $50 may seem like a lot for something that I won't get much use from going forward, but it worth every penny at the time. It was sturdy enough to keep my face off the table or bed, and I was able to finagle it around to keep my neck from getting stiff.

It was great for 3 days after eye surgery
It was good when it was needed but it's a dust collector now.
