LeapFrog LF915HD Video Baby Monitor with 5” 720p HD LCD Display, 360° Pan & Tilt with 8X Zoom Camera, Color Night Vision, Night Light, Two-Way Intercom, Smart Sensors

Monitor was purchase just over a year ago, we loved the quality of the camera, sound and screen. However the quality of the product does not last, we used the product for 9 months of the 15 months we’ve owned it and in that time the charging port is faulty and the battery will no longer maintain charge without being plugged in. The screen will also no longer come on unless plugged in. Leapfrog do not offer parts or repairs leaving no choice but to waste and purchase a new one! I would recommend sticking with the better known brands. We were very disappointed.

There is lots we love about this camera. The motion alert, the big screen etc. The negative is that the monitor makes a frequent clicking/chirping sound which is super annoying.

Whilst the monitor worked it was very good. Unfortunately after just owning the monitor for a year, the monitor unexpectedly stopped working and will not respond. I contacted the leapfrog customer service team and the response was a one liner saying I would have to buy a new monitor and camera.

This is our FOURTH baby monitor that we have purchased on Amazon, and I can finally say that we found one that works great and is an excellent value.The first two baby monitors that we purchased were made by "Good Baby" and "Eufy" had problems were they FROZE in the middle of the night. Our baby was crying hysterically for who knows how long, because the audio was stopped, and the video was frozen on these two old monitors from Amazon. Have to returning those, the next monitor we got was the "infant optics pro" monitor, which cost $200, and has issues with video quality, as well as with the temperature reading. It definitely was not worth $200...Finally, we purchased this monitor by LeapFrog. This is a well-built monitor, with an excellent camera, which you can control remotely. There's also a color night vision, which really is just a low light camera, so if it's too dark it doesn't work, but either way, if using that camera or the regular night vision, the video quality is crisp and clear. This monitor also has the best range out of all the monitors we tried. Our house is old and has lead in the walls, but this monitor is able to get past that better than any of the others that we tried. There are LEDs that light up on the side when the baby is cry, so you can see the crying even if your audio is low and the LCD screen is turned off. The temperature monitor is accurate to a 10th of a degree, which is the best we found out of any of the monitors, and also, a humidity meter is shown as well.The few minor shortcomings of this monitor are in my opinion related to the volume control. To adjust the volume, you first have to press a separate volume button, then press up and down on some arrow keys that normally control the camera position. I just wish that there were dedicated up and down volume buttons. Secondly, when the screen is off, and the volume is mute completely, there's no indication via LEDs or any other feature to remind you that the monitor is muted, aside from when the baby is crying and those LEDs light up on the side.Aside from these minor issues, this is an excellent baby monitor, and after testing several others that are very popular on Amazon, I would recommend this to anybody to monitor their baby.

I have tried 5 different baby monitors since my son was born in August. I've finally found a good one! This monitor is amazing. The picture quality is so clear, including the night mode. I love the 8x zoom feature and the night light on the camera that is easy to turn on and off with just a tap. The battery life is phenomenal (I still plug it in to charge overnight).My only con about this camera is there is a 1-2 second delay with the sound. So sometimes I will hear my son before the monitor picks up his noise.

I had 3 monitors before this one. Nothing compares to this one. Awesome battery life, great picture, great sound. Stop looking, this is the best one that you will find! :D

i did so much research when going to buy a baby monitor. I went to reddit, Tiktok, read review on here, and other baby websites as well. many people had different opinions on baby monitors but I ended up choosing this one. and boy am I satisfied beyond belief with it. the monitor is pretty large compared to other monitors ive seen and its super simple to use. there a button to power it on, a button to speak through the camera, button for volume control, a button to switch to night vision vs color, and a button to press for the menu to adjust any settings. The LCD screen does darken after a while of being on but does not turn off all the way unless you have a setting enabled or turn the LCD off (you will still be able to hear sound with this option). Ive heard some people complain about the battery life but ive had no problem with it. as long as you charge it every night, the battery goes pretty far (ive just gotten into the habit of charging it along side my phone at night) and you can even use it while its being charged as well. The monitor also tells you the temperature and humidity of the room baby is in as well and if its too cold the numbers turn blue and if too hot, they turn red. the sound quality is pretty good as well, sound are just delayed by a couple of seconds. dont have the volume up on the monitor? no problem. the monitor will also light up different colors when noise is heard. little noises are green, and if a loud noise (like crying) is heard, the light turns red (I personally enjoy this because if im in a at home meeting and i cant have the noise on, ill just watch for the lights). the camera can turn 360 degrees and look up and down. theres also a zoom option for 1X, 2X, 4X, and 8X. 8X does tend to look alittle grainy but not too bad. on the camera itself, there is a option to turn on the camera light. i usually leave it off because that light is super bright and my daughter doesn't sleep to well with it on her face (cant blame her). the range on the connection between the monitor and the camera is really good. my home is made of brick and i have a tin roof so I sometimes have trouble with electronics connecting to each other. Although, i can be in my front yard while she's sleeping in her bassinet on the other side of the house. Another big factor is that this monitor does not have app u need to download on your phone and there's no subscription you have to pay to "unlock" new features, this monitor doesn't even connect to WIFI! its all done through Bluetooth that connects the monitor and the camera so i dont have to worry about any creeps hacking on my monitor.Overall, I am over the moon about this baby monitor. I will 100% be telling friends and family about it and if anyone asks which one I prefer, it would be this one.

I love this camera we have been using it since 2022 and it is fantastic. Picture quality is great and sound quality is great. My only wish is I could link a second camera
