Easy fix!
Super easy turn old one left and remove push new one in correct slots one bigger blade turn to the right and works great in my 20 year old yard light..Same exact specs as my old one and good price

It works!!
It works! I was a little skeptical since I always get my replacements at a big box store (Home Depot). Unfortunately none of the stores in my area had any in stock nor could I order any ๐ฐ. So here I come to Amazon to check if they had anything worth buying. It's safe to say it functions as it should. As soon as I replaced this bad boy, I will say since I'm short it did take a wee bit of messing around but it installed easily. The light turned off automatically during the day. And it stays on bright at night. Now it's only been a few days but it's still going, I'm guess we shall see how long this product will last the durability of time and weather. Look no further, this review is coming from a guy who is just a diyer like you who doesn't want to buy an electrician who knows how much just to replace a simple photocell.

Easier than replacing a light bulb
This was a quick and easy fix to a non-working backyard security light. The mercury vapor lamp bulb had gone out and was replaced, but the photocell was found to be bad as well - the light stayed on day and night. With the new bulb and photocell, everything works like new.

Replacement photosensor
After nearly one month of use, this replacement has worked as intended. It is used on a dusk to dawn light on a detached garage. Matched the OEM part exactly, which was a surprise, since the light is approximately 20 years old. I didnt think I would find a match, as the company was not in business any longer. I will buy a couple more as backups, because who really knows about longevity in products made in this day and age.
