Can you plug a microphone into this as well as a guitar?

So long as you use the small aux input I suppose..... The two main jacks are instrument and footswitch.

Is it suitable for amplifing saxophones

I had this amp for a week, before deciding the sound wasn't authentic. Even with all the effects turned off, the sound still didn't seem right, and was heavily coloured by the speaker cabinet. I returned to Amazon, and paid a little extra for a Boss Katana amp, and would never buy any other portable amp again. Its sound is pure, with the effects turned off, you can plug a microphone, radio receiver, or pickup into this and it just sounds just so sweet, with a fantastic tone range etc..

Does the amp have an override or distortion on it?

The amp has a gain control which in effect is akin to overdrive. The fx control has a metal feature which can distort the sound. Great amp for the money.

Fender champion 20w practice amp

Excellent practice amp with preset sounds. Easy to use presets beautiful clean and multiple effects including chorus distortion and wah. Amp is nice and loud and although volume goes to 10 it is rarely played above 2 or with headphones so could easily be used for small gigs. A fantastic purchase. Light and easy to carry. The only flaw is a loud kick when switching off.

Quality product.

I should of got Champion 20watt amp ages ago, instead of buying other makes which proved no match to the Champion 20 amp. The sound , tone and settings are spot on for home practice, I also tried the Champion 40watt heavier version but decided on the compact 20watt.
