I bought this for my office to listen to FM stations and bluetooth podcasts to avoid headphones. It's amazing how few quality FM tuners are available.In an office setting, you don't want loud. You want soft. The lowest volume setting is still blisteringly loud in that environment. Because the volume levels are set digitally, with a discrete number of settings, it's not a smooth transition. In fact, it seems like there's not much of a difference between the first four or five settings.Also, if you unplug the power cord, the FM radio becomes almost entirely static. To use the FM radio when NOT connected to a power source, you have to leave the power cord plugged in so it acts as an antenna. (Thanks to the seller for responding with this tip.)However, my nine year old daughter loves it. She thinks its so cool to walk around with her own music. I will probably let her have it and try something else for my office.Yes, the price is great. I paid about $13. But there are many other options around the $20 price point. For only $7 more, I'd rather get exactly what I need on the volume issue.Bottom line: would be 5 stars, but dropping to 4 because the volume doesn't get quiet enough.

Charging port and cord were defective. Broke upon third use.Charging cord end separated on third use with speaker unit.The port flops around inside the unit, won't charge even using a different cord. Useless.Speaker is too loud while powering on, then speaker volume can be reduced after power-up process.Bluetooth connectivity to laptop was a breeze.

decent sound and battery life, only thing I don't like about it, is you cant use the aux feed, if there is a memory card installed. ejecting the card will allow it to play off the aux feed. I bought it for the pizza room at my restaurant so we had some music in there. it can get too loud for the environment, but works good for what I needed it for

The sound is pretty good, it's quite easy to operate. The FM radio did not work for me in the Caribbean. Also, even if it did, tuning the radio seemed very difficult, no way to see what station you are on.

I was looking for a small speaker that was easy to move around the house to listen to music or audiobooks. This is perfect, about the size of a soda can and it belts out clear and loud music. Incredible for the price.

Bought it for FM radio. After searching... have to leave usb cable plugged in as antenna. Moderate reception. Daughter loves it - good sound as Bluetooth player

I can only get it to work with older Ipad. makes a terible clicking noise with laptop and will only play music with Iphone. no audibles or youtube which is what I bought it for. You get what you pay for I suppose, but still a disapointment

The sound quality is truly awful. It is shallow, tinny, and emphasizes every "es" sound. It has a very difficult time recognizing the USB thumb drive and when it finally does the volume control and the skip and reverse modes do not work. It is one of the worst purchases I have ever made.
