Very well made, detailed, durable toys.
These are pricy, and there is a reason. We were not paying attention when we first purchased them. We were expecting something closer to 1/32 or 1/24 scale on arrival, and were not sure this was going to be a good fit for our Nephew. These are exceptionally well made toys though. Lots of die cast metal and rivets. Excellent painting and decals. Rubber wheels! Simulated hydraulic rams! Good enough to be models, but oh so playable. To our surprise, it was the hit of the party. Everything stopped when that gift was opened, and he insisted on getting them out to play with immediately. They never left his hands the rest of the day. I want a set for myself now.

Tiny but impressive quality
Perfect for your little construction worker. They are less than twice the size of Matchbox/ Hot Wheels vehicles. They are very detailed with great craftsmanship. When various joints flex, the tiny pistons adjust. I've included a picture of them in a kinetic sand Monster jam arena where they fit perfectly. I recommend this for kids old enough not to swallow little pieces (not that any parts have come off yet). If my kid loses these, I will buy them again.

Sturdy metal vehicles but paint chips easily
This construction toy set has been a hit with my nephew! The metal vehicles feel solid and well-made - much sturdier than plastic alternatives. The dump truck, excavator, and backhoe all have moving parts that work smoothly. The set provides hours of imaginative play and the vehicles are a good size for toddler hands. However, there are a couple of downsides. First, some of the moving parts are a bit stiff and require more force than a young child can easily manage. Second, the paint on the vehicles started chipping after just a few weeks of regular play. The set doesn't come with much in terms of accessories or a play mat, which would have been nice. Despite these issues, it's still a decent construction toy set that encourages creative play. Just be aware of the paint durability issue if it matters to you.

Tiny but mighty!
These were perfect for stocking stuffers. Durable, interactive and lifelike. Moving parts that can actually pickup dirt for real play. The tires on the excavator fell off almost immediately unfortunately. 2 months later the toys are still being used and just as good as new.

Great toy for toddler!
My three-year-old loves these three toys we call them hard worker machines. They were a little smaller than I expected but I love how how it’s metal parts and the hydraulics all work. Very well-made machines highly recommend. The size is great for being able to take in the car and other peoples homes and things like that.

Model or Toy?
Bought this set for an advanced and pretty sharp 3 year old. While he normally loves construction vehicles, the excavator tractor tires wouldn't stay in place or work well when he tried to play with the vehicle. While they are a great size for a young kid, they were just a little tough to maneuver. I was going to return them but they look good, they are sturdy, appear to be well made, and they have good detail. Therefore, we decided to put this set of trucks up for display rather than play. Who knows? Maybe he will be more interested in them when he is older.

Toddlers favorite toys
Bought these a while ago and they’re still my toddlers favorite! I love how realistic they are and that they’re made of sturdy metal.

Updated review- constructed well son loves them
I must admit I thought these would be bigger. After playing with the backhoe for less than ten minutes, the tread on one side had already come off the tracks. Now, it just keeps coming off over and over. We will probably end up taking it off and leaving it off because it’s pointless to keep putting it back on. I’m also not sure how long the dump truck is going to hold up. The pivot point between the cab and bucket does not seem very robust but only time will tell. For almost $30 I wouldn’t buy these a second time. There is a little man inside the loader which is pretty cool Update: my son had now had these for a few months and I must drastically change my review rating. He absolutely loves playing with them and he is rough on toys but they have held up wonderfully. Although $30 does seem a bit expensive, I now truly think they were worth it!
