I put a pinhole in the seal on the top of a newly opened bottle. I squeeze a small stream of the cleaner on the area to be cleaned and, if necessary, spread it around with a wet finger. I then wait a few minutes and often see bubbles as it loosens the scaling. I then take a wet, soft-bristled brush and scrub the area. Next I rinse with water if in an area that drains or wipe with a wet towel. Usually this cleans the area. I don't put the cleaner in a spray bottle since I am concerned about breathing in the spray.
