My biggest concern with a shelter like this was that the tarp would be the same cheap kind of tarp that you get at Walmart. I can tell you the tarp for this shelter is made of very thick material, rip-stop PVC, but not at all like the ones sold in camping supplies. I would even call this a 'PVC Canvas'; it is so nice. The shelter was delivered in two boxes, one with all the poles, and one with the canvas and connectors. We did the assembly with two people, but one person could potentially do this alone. It took my wife and me about two hours in total. The directions were very nicely written in American English, not in 'Chinglish.' Diagrams were plentiful and made assembly a snap. When we separated all the parts, a few of the poles had small dings from shipping, but it was not enough to compromise the structure, so we went ahead and assembled it. I may call them to get some replacements, but I'm not overly concerned. The rods and connectors were all neatly packed and, at first blush, look nice and solid. Also, every piece literally snaps into another, which makes assembly very simple. You build the roof first, which is nice because it gives you an idea of the area it will take up, and it can be easily repositioned for optimal placement. Next, you assemble one wall, not two. It is important to only do one wall and then cover it with the doors and roof/wall tarp before erecting the second wall; otherwise, you will need to be up on ladders with two people. Every pole has a sturdy foot at the bottom that stakes to the ground. All of the joints feel nice and thick and super sturdy. Time will tell. When putting on the canvas, you put the doors on first, which are bungeed to the frame, but the roof/wall canvas is where this shelter really stands out. Many other shelters out there have separate roofs and walls which tie to the frame with grommets. The issue I've seen with them is that the grommets tear. Advance Outdoor instead engineers this shelter using a unique belt and pole system with no grommets. The roof and walls are one large piece of canvas. The canvas has a belt on the front and back door that tie down on the four corners using a ratchet strap. It works like a hoodie on a winter coat when you tighten it around your face. Then there are wall poles that slide through tubes built into the tarp near the base of the walls, and horizontal poles clamping those to the vertical wall poles. The ratchet straps and the horizontal wall poles are how the roof/wall canvas is held onto the structure, so there are no grommets to tear or rip. Once the canvas and doors are on the structure, you raise the second wall. At this point, there is some tweaking to get the canvas centered, and it helps to have two people and a ladder at this point. The horizontal poles on the wall should end up about 6 inches off the ground. Another nice feature of this shelter is that you get 12 very solid metal stakes that are about a foot long to give the structure a nice deep anchor into the ground. Overall first impressions: 1. Nicely packed and all parts present. 2. Easy for two people to assemble with only a rubber mallet needed to hammer stakes into the ground. 3. PVC Canvas is an impressive thickness and has a quality feel with a big 'Advance Outdoor' logo. 4. Poles and especially joints seem to be very good quality, with some minor shipping dings on 3 poles. 5. Smart 'no grommet' design of the main roof/wall canvas to avoid the common issue with other shelters. 6. Assembled in only about two hours. 7. Overall, a great experience."

The canopy garage shelter is exactly what I wanted to store a golf cart. It was fairly easily to put up and directions were clear. The frame is very sturdy and the cover is a good quality. The welds on the corners have some rough spots causing some wear on the cover. Putting tape over those rough spots should fix the problem. The best part is the customer service we received. They responded quickly to emails and offered solutions. They worked with me every step of the way. I wish more companies would provide customer service as they have. I highly recommend this company.

1 year review from purchase/setup. Purchased for a storage while remodeling and moving into our new house. We live in an area that regularly experiences high winds (over 50mph) so I placed the unit adjacent to my house to help block the wind, lag bolted it to pressure treated 2x12s and staked the lumber to the ground using 1/2" rebar cut 18" long with a washer welded to the top, along with the provided stakes. I further placed concrete foundation blocks on the wood runners and the put 6" gravel inside for a solid base. Good thing I did. The unit survived 70mph linear winds this spring and held up under 4" of wet snow last winter. Easy to assemble and setup with 2 people, but the directions could be better (it's simple to figure out once you lay out all the parts). After a year of continuous use, it is starting to show some wear (constantly being blasted by the wind doesn't help) but has held up as you may expect. Some of the provided tensioners need replacing, the tarp needs to be slid back into proper position, and a few small holes are starting to emerge here and there, caused from debris blown by the wind. Everything is fixable so far. My biggest complaint is the zippers. Complete garbage. The first zipper that will give out is the one you use the most for entry/exit if you don't roll the ends up. Even if you are careful, sooner or later a zipper will split and then you fight it back to the top to get it re-seated. I finally added a set of grommets to one of the zippers and tied it with hay twine after it completely gave out. For all the abuse this has survived in a year's time, I would definitely recommend this carport and I would purchase another one. I will be adding a heavy duty tarp (added strength on the top and sides) and tie that down to my runners for the upcoming winter. Good product for the money. Durable, holds up well in the rain, snow and wind, and plenty of room to park a vehicle inside along with additional storage. Make sure you spend a little extra time building or fabricating a decent foundation to place it on if you live in wind-prone areas.

The directions are good for assembly. no tools needed. The only issues are that the vents leak in the rain. So if anything is close things are going to get wet. The other issue is that the tarp cover is not physically attached to the frame. It is held on to the frame with a drawstring type method like a garbage bag. Ratchet straps are used to get the drawstring tight except the drawstring is too long and the tarp is too big so it can never be tightened fully. It survived several rain storms and did pretty well. I assembled it by myself. It was only missing one spring clip

I purchased this in April of 2023 to use as a temporary shelter for equipment while our barn was being built. Our property sat in the middle of the Manistee National Forest in northern Michigan. I put the thing up myself with the help of my wife and kids. Pretty straight forward and the instructions and quality was what I expected for the price point. I have to be honest though, I did NOT expect this thing to last long in that environment. Well….this thing sat in the National Forest for 2 winters and summers and then I disassembled it and rebuilt it in my back yard at home. It has survived another winter and I’m telling you the last 3 winters in Michigan have been no joke! I went out this winter after about 2 feet of snow had accumulated and knocked it off from the inside with a push broom and that’s it! I couldn’t even reach the property the two previous winters to do that and it still stood perfectly intact! It says it’s good for 5 years and I’m at 3, but considering the extreme environment this one was left in I thing 5 should be expected in a less harsh environment. Point is, this thing is a great product for the price! And I NEVER leave reviews but this tent has amazed me! Problem is now I need to replace the fabric and I am having a hard time just finding a replacement fabric in lieu of purchasing the whole thing again. Hopefully Advance is watching and reaches out.

Just put it up. Easy with good directions. Took two men and two teen boys just under two hours. Need extra hands to manage the tarp. Looks great. Seems sturdy. Would definitely recommend. Our daughter is getting one for her house to house their son’s ATV, E bike and motorcycle. Plenty of room to work on them under cover if needed.

First, let's start with the good. The cover is reasonably sturdy and the frame goes together fairly easy. It would greatly benefit from a horizontal gusset support at front & rear upper pieces to prevent the flexing back and forth motion. Now the bad: - The cover itself is pretty thick however it is difficult to install on the frame as it fits very tight and no expansion is designed into the corners. - The sides of the cover do not match the advertising photos in that they are barely long enough to touch the ground. As a result the rain runs underneath and anything you have stored on bottom will get wet. - There are no upper tie-down points for attaching ropes which are desperately needed in high winds to prevent the thing from toppling over. This is a fair weather cover! - The roof has holes in it from being stretched tightly on the frame. All in all I think it's over priced for what it offers.

We use this as a storage garage for a 12 foot popup camper, and the 10x15 option is the perfect size for us. It is made of very thick, sturdy PVC fabric. The zippers are robust and have been easy to zip and unzip. Assembly was straightforward but we needed a third person to help with putting up the fabric once the frame was complete (we are a 70+ year old couple). We especially like the horizontal stabilizers near the ground. We get pretty stiff wind at times, and so far this has been rock solid. It's not flimsy at all. We put sandbags along the bottom flaps to help with stability.
