I bought this for my 2.5-year-old son and we’ve had so much fun playing with it together. Although it’s labelled 3+, with supervision it has been absolutely fine for us. The set does contain some very small decorative pieces, so I simply kept those aside for safety. The set comes with three different scented kinetic sands — chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla — and they smell surprisingly nice without being overpowering. The colours are lovely and vibrant too, although my son quickly mixed them all together anyway! The moulds and accessories are fun to use and help create lots of different ice cream shapes, which keeps the play interesting and encourages creativity and imaginative play. The texture of the sand is fantastic — soft, slightly sticky, easy to mould, and very satisfying to touch. It holds shapes well without feeling dry, making it perfect for sensory play for younger children. I’m also impressed with the durability. After playtime, I store the sand in a sealed food bag and it stays soft and fresh for reuse. We’ve already played with it multiple times and the texture still feels like new. The quality feels very good overall and the price is reasonable for the amount of fun and replay value you get. Overall, this is a lovely sensory play set and I would definitely recommend it for young children with supervision.

My daughter is kinetic sand obsessed and loved this! The colours are nice and bright, the amount of sand you get is not much but works. The colour is very potent though, so be careful on light upholstery! Cupcake concept very cute!

Lovely set, makes great shapes, easy to press and make ice creams. Six year old loves it and even her 9yr old brother will have a go. I wish the kinetic sand came in tubs or resealable bags for storage. Don't expect to get that lovely swirl, if you're lucky you'll get one and that'll be it, it's absolutely impossible not to mix the colours! Also rather annoying that once clicked together the ice cream maker won't fit back in the box so it's a pain to store. But a good fun toy that I wouldn't hesitate to buy again as a gift.

I bought the kinetic sand pizza box set for my DD’s birthday, and it was a huge hit! She’s had hours of fun making her own little sand pizzas, toppings, and creations. The sand is soft, easy to shape, a little messy but nothing your Hoover can’t handle, it’s a big win for me. The set comes with great little tools and moulds that kept her entertained for ages. Such a brilliant, creative gift definitely recommended!

Gift for my 4 year old daughter. Great set and lots to do with it. My pet peeve with this stuff is it just gets everywhere. The hoover hates it, so wouldn’t recommend hoovering any loose bits up. But it is fun and creative. Therefore I cannot complain.

Good value set(on sale) but sand was quite wet and some was mixed(sand didnt come in packages). Ive bought a few kinetic sand sets and the sand was never wet
