Very accurate. Checked it with the wall clock temperature and later checked it with the nest thermostat indoor temperature. .1 difference, that's extremely good! Turns off automatically, easy to read, and quick reading. Comes with a 2 year warranty. Great quality and value.

I was looking for an infrared thermometer due to getting a new outdoor pizza oven. When it comes to quality of items, it can really be hit or miss but I was incredibility surprised with the quality and speed of the device. The laser is easily readable with a decently fast display. I didn't see any issues with the device, and it shuts off automatically after a short period. Home cooks should look to this item as part of their tool arsenal!

Product works great, quick response, easy to use. Seems to be fairly accurate on basic temp measurements like room walls, etc. Haven't done extension testing yet, but pleased so far.

I bought this mainly to check temperatures while grilling, and it works for quick surface checks, but it’s not the best option for meat. It doesn’t tell you the internal temperature, so it’s hard to know doneness accurately. It’s easy to use and fine for checking surfaces like the grill or pan, but for actual cooking I’d recommend a probe-style meat thermometer instead.

Works pretty good for an infrared thermometer. Easy enough to understand how to use. Battery has lasted quite some time. I believe it is fairly accurate. It's sturdy and built well. And you do get a reading pretty quickly.

Used the temperature gun on a cooler ice challenge. It worked very well. The experiment was eye opening I found that reusable ice cubes, ice, and frozen water bottles held the most ice retention. Definitely worth using for checking temperature of no biological stuff.

This laser thermometer works great! I use it for many uses including determining poorly-sealed doors and windows in the recent frigid weather.

Fantastic thermometer that looks and performs great. I have used it many times for cooking purposes. To read water temperature and oven surface temperatures for bread making. I highly recommend this as it is fast and accurate. However to get accurate cooking temperature for meats you will still need a meat (or stab) thermometer!
