Not needed, but using a bigger filter, w/a bigger fan (I have a knob that turns fan down to 35% speed), or 8" filter connected to a 6" fan, gives the outgoing air more time to adsorb in the carbon filter. I got that tip from several places. Finally got to try it! Filter lasts longer, and larger fan (if you can slow it down..), will be quieter! Just a tip.. Just my 2Β’. If it's worth that even, lol.. **Q: I have the 60" x 60" x 80" the bottom of it is made too small and it ripped. Sending back but is there better way to put the bottom on?** A: I have the same tent.
