Review: Great light! - I use this light for my fiddle leaf fig tree as our house faces north & we have two south-facing windows. My fiddle was not getting enough light so I bought this bulb to supplement natural light so it was happy. This thing works great! I have used it for 4 months now and my fiddle is pushing out new leaves, even in winter (whereas it wasn't before & we got it in June). Highly recommend, especially for finnicky plants that need bright light & a lot of it!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do i need a special lamp? or can i use a lamp i already have?**
A: The bulb will fit a standard size socket but as for the lamp, as long as there's enough clearance for the bulb which is a little large. The wattage is low so you shouldn't need to worry about output. I picked up a couple of of metal reflector with clamps. Works like a charm.

**Q: How many led bands (nanometers) is this lamp?**
A: Lol.  The manufacturer will have to answer that.  It is a 9w LED equal to a 100w flood.  It fits in a standard lamp.  This puts out vertually no heat!  It is a full daylight spectrum light.  Used indoors, the light looks different than other bulbs, making the area look like daylight.  I'm not using it on anything fancy, just normal house plants and herbs.  I have no complaints.  Plants are doing well with new growth.  It's the same type of bulb as "Happy Lights" use.  We like them.

**Q: Does this put out visible white light, or a colored (red/blue) to your eye?**
A: It is a very visible white light

**Q: How far do i put these bulbs from my weed plant**
A: When they are young upto about 10 inches about 4 or 5 inch’s is ok. Just check with your hand for the heat. As they get taller adjust the height to reach the diameter so all the leaves are getting the same amount of light if possible but always make sure they aren’t getting hurt. These lights give very little heat. But read about colored grow lights. And the more light you have the better! They respond to different colors during all their different cycles of growth! I'm on my 3rd one now. They last about 9 months to a year. I've tried others, the plants seem to like this one in this situation. I have it over some ferns and Orchids. The Orchids seem to really respond to this more than other lights.
