After I use it my skin feels really good and soft. I haven't had any skin irritation from this product either. It doesn't have a smell so if you don't like scented things you wouldn't have a problem with this. After using this essence the next day or so my skin still feels so fresh and soft. It's also pretty hydrating at least foe my skin anyway. My skin just soaks this stuff right up after I cleanse. I can't wait to see how this works long term. The bottle is also very nice I think.
