A: I've put up to 6 tablespoons with no problem

**Q: Can I use it on coil stove?**
A: I don't know what a coil stove is, but if it gets no hotter than a ceramic electric stovetop then it's probably ok. The coils probably won't make a difference but, just the maximum temperature may.
