I purchased this lock along with a similar lock to replace a broken lock on my desk drawer. The other lock was a better replacement for my desk drawer. This lock appears to be very well made. There is an assortment of different locking tabs to suit different applications. It is packaged securely in a blister pack. I have decided to keep it for future use.

For an inexpensive generic cabinet lock worked well Somewhat a little sloppy tolerances But can live with.

Worked perfect to replace the lock on an antique cabinet

They need to make the metal cylinder capture that installs on the back of the cabinet door a little more snug on the flat sides. It allows for too much "slop" in the cylinder. I had to use the long locking tab on my cabinet. The weight of the tab makes the lock look a little "saggy" in the locked position. It should be at a 90 degree position, but is more like 95 degrees. Overall doesn't inhibit the locking or unlocking of the cabinet. Also note, you will need to purchase an elbow latch to install on the inside top or bottom of the adjacent door to insure someone can't just pull hard to open it. See the second photo.

Easy to install, lots of options for depth. no instructions but a sufficient diagram. Less than eight dollars delivered to my door with tax. Terrific value. Allows me to lock a small file cabinet so my toddler granddaughter doesn’t match her fingers opening and closing the drawers. If you’ve lost your key and your cabinet is unlocked this is the way to secure it. Took less than 10 minutes to install. It’s not the best lock, but it does the job. If you’re looking for full-blown security This is not the lock. It will keep unwanted and nosy people out. It won’t keep people out with bad intentions.

I had my keys stole and couldn't get into my steel husky cabinet, so we drilled a hole in the lock instead of calling the locksmith to do exactly that... I bought this device and was able to easily install it. Works great and haven't had an issue. used it for months now. great price.

I used this to replace the lock on Rubbermaid Outdoor Storage Cabinet (the person who gave it to me had lost the keys.) Works great. This was an exact fit. Comparing the original lock and this one, they appear to be identical. (Those one came with two different locking "arms", one of them was a perfect replacement.) Installing it was a bit fiddly because the various parts are small. Tip: while installing the lock, try not to drop and lose anything. (I used tape to keep the lock in place from the front while I assembled it from the back, but I was still worried about dropping and losing one of the parts under the deck. I needed an extra set of hands in the end, I should have just put a tarp down and put the cabinet on it's back.)
