One of the things I read about on blogs was that the storage compartment locks on many travel trailers (TTs) and RVs use common keys. I found that to be true when we got our TT. I first ordered a different set of tubular locks as they were cheaper in price and as it turned out, cheaper in quality. I returned those and purchased these. These are very sturdy locks. They work terrific. These are the locks you want if you are interested in better security for the compartments on your RV or TT

We are new to travel trailer camping - it was always tent camping. We purchased a new unit this spring. So far so good - jury is out for having one key on my key ring that is a little bulky. One wish is the key would stick in place and not fall out so easily. I used it on my truck canopy door and many times I am unlocking, swinging the door open and grabbing something then closing and locking. When the keys fall out as the door swings to the open position it is a pain. And yes, I could take the key out, set it on the bumper and reinsert when I want to lock - that is pretty much what I have to do.
