Great coverage
We were tired of staring at our outdated wood paneling but also not in a spot to completely redo our basement, so we had a crazy idea… wallpaper. It worked like a charm and after a few days of looking at it we’re happy we went with it.It took me 3 days to complete my basement but I was working alone for most of it. I started the project with a helper (my 14 year old son) but doing it on my own wasn’t difficult.I read some reviews that said it came squished or squared, but mine had a foam tube in the center of every roll, keeping them round.I also found it to be extremely sticky. I had no issues getting it to stick or even re stick if I had to adjust it, to the paneling. I will note I did wipe down my walls as recommended before applying.I used a plastic putty knife to smooth out the paper as I applied it. I recommend going slow and pulling down the backing as you go to keep unnecessary paper from sticking to your wall before you’re ready. It is easy to tear if you’re not careful but working slowly and being patient can prevent most issues. So take your time.I purchased the gray and it is darker than I expected, not a big deal for us but could be for someone else. I also measured like crazy and only made a few small errors that resulted in waisted paper and still had to order an extra roll because I was short, so I’d recommend ordering one more roll than you think you’ll need just in case.

Easy
Easter to work with, certainly more so than shelf paper. I was a bit intimidated by other reviews, but was easy for me. The reason maybe because I was working with smaller areas so I could use smaller pieces. I was able to pull off and adjust bits. I wouldn’t recommend this, but again I was working with smaller bits and could adjust it when I made an error. I was able to smooth it out with my hand. Just be careful your rings don’t leave a mark.

Beautiful Color
Love the color but will definitely need to order more than 2 of the refrigerator project. I like the look of it .Sticks very good.

Looks great!
Looks fantastic gave me the look I was wanting. Once it was on and smoothed it was great. Not so easy to apply, mostly because it is a tightly wound roll, so it's hard to cut down. And gets worse the closer you get to the end. Left some creases, but the blender covers them. I did just put them on so we will se how time treats them.

Definitely a learning Curve
I bought this product to upgrade the look of my kitchen counter which is outdated stuffed up and stained with marks. I just tried to install it a couple days ago however I could not finish because I kept getting frustrated trying to lay down smoothly without any kinks in it. In the end I ended up tearing it all off the counter and will try again today or tomorrow hopefully with better results. I don't think this was the product's fault and merely my own since I'm usually not too good or handy when it comes to these types of things. One thing that I can't say though is that adhesion is excellent and the product is very forgiving. I was surprised at how forgiving it was especially after me lifting the product up several times trying to correct my errors and get the Kinks out and get to lay down smoothly. Even after lifting up the paper a handful of times when I lay it down back on the counter it was just as sticky and adhesive as the first time laying it down. This product left no residue, even better. I would recommend this product for myself to buy again and for others, for me though I just think I need to watch a few videos or maybe get a friend to help me and I'll be okay. I did test to see how waterproof it was and it lives up to the description. Once I get this installed correctly I don't think I'll have any issues with it lifting even with it being in a highly water contacted surface area such as the sink. Despite my struggle this product did not disappoint.

Stickier
I had gotten a similar item a few yrs ago from the same brand and they were less sticky. The product it well made for what it is (thicker than contact paper) but due to the stickiness, it pulled paint off the wall.

Transforming my apartment kitchen!
As you can see, I have a thing for black and dark colors in my kitchen as a backdrop. When moving into my first apartment I told myself, big deal! It’s not that noticeable… Little did I know, the contrast of all the dark with the light counters and walls created some serious visual clutter, leading the space to look more messy than necessary.Using two rolls of this contact paper I was able to transform the space into one that made me stressed to one that makes me feel blessed 😉 The dark color works with my decor, the space no longer looks messy and believe it or not I have basically all the same things in the space from one picture to the next, just rearranged slightly different 🤯The space is now pleasant to look at!I will say, application took… a while. A very long while. Like four hours at least haha 😅 But that is to cover backsplash and a curved counter, both of which take more effort. The trick for me was to cut it to about the right size but slightly bigger, then begin to remove the backing just in the center of where you want to apply (create a line in the center where the adhesive is exposed) and fix the center. After that you remove the backing on either side and smooth to place, then cut the excess if course.Nothing will make this process go faster I’m afraid… But its a small price to pay for good design and the joy and relaxation that follows.I easily screwed up the first big piece by tearing the backing off left to right in one piece and attempting to adhere it in one piece… this was, a terrible idea! The pieces stuck to the other sticky parts and it just was impossible to undo without severe creasing. If I hadn’t lost that first one I would have had more coverage but oh well, win some and lose some. Now I need to finish the rest of the tiny kitchen! I suppose this will have to do for now but I’m antsy to transform it more after the results from the corner! 😇UPDATE: Have been peeling off at the end of the lease (I know, sad to see those white walls return) and want to say it peels like a dream! So far I have NO paint peeling, or even hints of that. The same cannot be said for the dollar store contact paper I used in the other room which somehow managed to take a piece of the countertop off haha 😆

Better quality than expected
The quality of the material is higher than expected. Thick and textured. Looks fantastic in my place. Applied it to glass and it holds firmly yet I was able to reposition as needed. The first roll is the hardest to install because you have to find a technique that works for you. Once you get that, the rest are easy and much faster. The backing paper has grid lines so you can cut as needed, accurately.Only negative is that the roll is not usually cut perfectly to the grid line, so I had to cut the top of the roll so that it's perfectly straight, then apply. I don't think it would come out straight if I just tried to line up the roll with the cut that it came shipped with.Application method:After making sure the grid line on the backing is straight, I suggest peeling back about 3 inches of backing, line up to the top of the wall, apply making sure there are no bubbles, then pull down the backing little by little as you ensure the wallpaper sticks with no bubbles.

Good product, does the job
Tip: if you plan to use this, keep the roll at a roughly 90 degree angle (to whatever you are covering) as you roll it out and flatten with the other hand. Makes a huge difference. Used it on a plastic table, first attempt laying it more or less flat resulted in lots of bubbles and creases even taking my time. Had my partner flatten it the next attempt whilst I held it as described, results was pretty much perfect. It lifts easily but does tend to stretch slightly if done too much and may tear, so worth getting it correct the first time.

Really good quality & can be painted with ModPodge glitter
Impressed, this is really good quality and sticks well, smooths easily, and has a nice matte pebbly texture. I used this in my bathroom and it's held up great with moisture. As a side note, I also painted it once it was hung with ModPodge glitter sealant & a package of black glitter mixed in - and it looks INSANELY good.

satisfaite

Feels like a new living room
Impressed with the quality. I wasn't expecting much, but our living room is way better now! It has a really nice and subtle texture to it and it's really easy to clean. The downside is that the edge of the wallpaper is not straight, so you have to straighten by yourself. But there are some lines in the back of the wallpaper to help you with that, so no big deal. It's really easy to apply and I did that wall with my wife in about 1 hour. Used 4 rolls. It seems to be easy to remove, even though it sticks to the wall, but I can't confirm that before trying to actually remove it. If you want to change your room without being a permanent thing, just go for it!
