Akface WiFi Smart LED Light Bulb, Multi Color Dimmable, Wireless Remote Control,Compatible with Alexa Echo Dot

This gets three stars because, I’ll admit, it’s a really cool product, but I am disappointed with how dim it is. First the good - the bulb works with your WiFi as promised. You can control it with your phone or it hooks up to Alexa so you can control it with your voice. Pretty cool. The bulb also changes vivid colors as promised. Again, pretty cool. But it has one large flaw that I can’t get past: the light is way too dim. It can’t even light up my small living room. If you bought this to use as your main light source in any room, you will be disappointed. If you bought this for the novelty of changing colors, dimming, etc., and you put it in a secondary lamp, you’re going to love it. I’ll be putting this in a smaller lamp for funsies, and putting my old LED bulb back in the main lamp.

The Smart bulb, does work with alexa, and yes it does change colors. It seems to be a good bulb overall, you can down load the app and use it or simply find it and connect it to your alexa. So read the directions, it tells you the app name!!! also when using with alexa, each account needs to be set up to use the smart home. If you switch accounts, then you wont get the bulb to respond. Very easy set up, Will be buying more.

Have had several of these but they die about 24 months of daily use. Color not as brilliant as LIfx but cost is reasonable for replacement. Don't expect the best and you'll be satisfied.

Set up was a little tricky but once I figured out the instructions it was easy. 1)install app on phone. 2) screw in light bulb - it will blink 3) login to your WiFi network on the app and follow the prompts and onscreen directions to use the light bulb.

Worked fine at first. Had a power outage and had to reinstall. Had another outage and won’t connect. App recognizes it’s connected but when the process ends it won’t connect

Great value for wifi bulbs. Have 5 now. Will be buying more in the future.

Not as bright as you’d expect but it works. Pairing slightly harder than I expected but only because of the app. If it was much brighter I’d give it 4 stars.

If your WiFi is faster than 2.4g they are real hassle to connect

The bulb works well. The RGB is fun. The bulb is not quite as bright as a 60w bulb. The colour spectrum of the RGB is limited to a dozen or so colours with several levels of brightness.Works great with Echo Plus.

Tuya app does not work, i used Brightfun app from app store and worked first try. Works great with Alexa.

It is very responsible and app is easy to use!!

I haven't gotten too far into all of the different programs and things for this bulb, but I like playing with the color and have a few timers going, happy with this purchase.
