I get mouth sores regularly, so I liked the idea of rubbing copper against them when they try to start in my mouth. Normally, they run their course for about a week or so, during which it's painful to chew in that area. I got this particular tongue cleaner cuz it's all copper, and the handles are smooth and round, such that I can run them all around my mouth to kill germs. Well, I had just had a canker sore starting in my mouth when this arrived; I rubbed the handle all over the sore; the next day, there was barely anything left, but I rubbed it again, and by the next day, it was gone; it never materialized!I do also use it to clean my tongue; it's not sharp or otherwise bothersome to scrape across the tongue; I think that this is a good practice to keep up.I recommend this product not only for good tongue cleaning, but to fight germs and even viruses, which the canker sores are from.

I got a pair of these copper tongue scrapers for my girlfriend and I. This was my first metal tongue scraper. Prior to this, I had been using plastic one's, which seemed to work pretty well. This one works waaay better, at least to me. It took a bit of getting used to, bit it definitely gets more gunk off my tongue than the plastic one did. I can see, taste, and feel the difference, and I actually look forward to using it every day.My girlfriend, on the other hand, has used a Dr. Tung stainless steel scraper before using this one. She likes the Dr. Tung better, saying that this doesn't scrape off quite as much. Maybe at some point, I'll get a Dr. Tung so I can have the same basis for comparison as her.I thought we would have to polish these regularly, but the copper has developed a visually pleasing, multi-colored patina. So that's an unexpected plus.

Both my daughter and I use this daily. We love the way our tongue feels after scraping the gunk off and we’ve noticed an improvement (decrease) in plaque on our teeth when we wake up in the morning. Only con which isn’t a big deal is that it looks tarnished after having air dried it vs drying off with a towel.

LolI’ve changed a lot of ways how I take care of my teeth including cleaning. I was getting 2-3 cavities plus a root canal a year.... and now none.I use uncle Harry’s cleaning line (toothpaste in the jar, remineralize drops, mouthwash), nightguard (make at home one) - apparently I grind my teeth (you’re more prone to issues when you grind bc you’re wearing down your enamel) and I had NO idea bc the Denist never mentioned it to me... which creates a often patient for them - DUH!!!Then clearly I use this tongue cleaner which is my soul mate and I floss. I stay away from fluoride since its horrible for you (research it!)

Its easy to use and clean. I've had it for 6 months and it hasn't tarnished. Works as expected.

These are a great find! After I brush and rinse. It glides right over my tongue. The overall health of my mouth has really improved. All I have to do is give it a quick rinse. I like the storage case and there is no strange odors. The copper naturally stays clean and free of bacteria.
