It makes a great model for donor Radio Control Equipment you have from other UMX aircraft, such as the Electronics used in Ares, Fly Zone, Park Zone and E Flite. The Sopwith Camel was a British First World War single-seat biplane fighter aircraft introduced on the Western Front in 1917. It was developed by the Sopwith Aviation Company as a successor to the earlier Sopwith Pup and became one of the most famous fighter aircraft of the war. The Sopwith Camel was powered by a single rotary engine and was armed with twin synchronised machine guns, a first for the Royal Flying Corps. Though proving difficult to handle, it was light and more unstable than its predecessor the Sopwith Pup. The way the aircraft was handled provided for a high level of manoeuvrability for an experienced pilot, an attribute which was highly valued in the type's principal use as a fighter aircraft.
