This YETI chug cap works great! It fits perfectly and feels very durable and well-made. I love how easy it is to drink from, especially when you’re on the go. The design is simple but really effective, and it doesn’t leak.

This is my second time purchasing this lid. I love it. The seal is strong for both the lid and the cap. I buy these because I dislike having the part of my bottle where I put my mouth freely open to the word and its germs. No thank you to straws just out in the open, or flip lids where the mouth piece is just one stray sneeze away from grossness. This can be knocked over and tossed around without me feeling needing to sanitize the mouth piece before I drink. My first lasted many years before it started to have water leak through the cap. I think at some point the little rubber seal at the top of the cap got damaged or lost from me washing. I've always hand washed to keep the item away from extreme heat of the dishwasher and because I have hard water and rubber/silicon gets spotty in there. I have never put this in the dishwasher so can't comment on that. Its very easy to clean by hand and I feel confident I can clean every part of it. No hard to reach places or nooks and crannies needing special tools. My only con is that sometimes it seals too well and is tough to twist off the lid. If that happens I remove the cap first to get a better grip, and then thanks to the rubber wrapped around the rim of the lid I can get a secure grip and twist it open. Or if its the cap that gets stuck and you find the two pieces twisting open together, you just need to hold the rim of the lid directly to secure it and twist the cap, rather than holding only the bottle and twisting the cap.

So glad I was able to replace just the lid and not the whole bottle. Love my yeti! This is just like the original!

YETI had a bad design with this cap. Its too easy to over-tighten causing the sharp edged threads of the polycarbonate lid to shred the soft polyethylene threads of the cap. Eventually the cap is useless. Maybe its just YETI scamming consumers to buy more parts as this is far from inexpensive, almost half the cost of a new vessel with a cap. But go figure, my preferred color is discontinued so I'm left with replacing the top. It works as expected. No leaks. For now the cap seals tight and stays put. I'm going to be more careful about cranking down the cap.

This chug cap is always a good choice! Fits all rambler bottles, easy to clean. However be careful about twisting it on too tight, it can be hard to get undone. The best part is it does not leak! And its easy to drink from without getting youself all wet( like in a moving car) like all yeti, great quality and durability

I’ve bought three of these now. The threads don’t seem to last? I got my last one in April and it’s November now. My husband does drink an insane amount of water so it really could just be that it’s getting opened and closed soooo many times. But in a few months I’ll be being one again cause it’s perfect for what he needs!

Bought this replacement on 8th April 2025 and is already broke on 1st Nov 2025. The tracks for where the lid screws in peel up.

This chug cap fits perfectly on my YETI bottle and makes drinking on the go much easier. The build quality is excellent, and it seals tightly without leaks. A great addition to any YETI bottle.
