Can this strain be used to seed a new batch from the yogurt made?

The resulting product from the first fermentation can be used once or twice to seed a new batch but please keep in mind that the manufacturer does not recommend it. What are the ingredients?

Hi, From the package: 'Multi-strain Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermopilus isolated from Bulgarian nature specifically selected for the preparation of home made Bulgarian yoghurt.' I am very happy with this culture. I use it to make coconut yoghurt. I also add 1 teaspoon of agar, 2 teaspoons of kudzu and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar to feed the little guys. Excellent result.

Is this product Dairy-Free?

Probably not. As the bacteria had to be cultured on something. But I use it to make coconut yoghurt, with agar, kudzu and brown sugar.
