There's hope for flaky picture quality
There are TV points in two of our bedrooms and the cable run to them both from the TV out connection (terrestrial) is a long one - 40 feet at least.. Picture quality was variable with occasional complete loss of signal. I decided I needed to try a signal booster and needed something compact. Bought this one and connected it to the TV-in point and the two coax cables. Powered it up . Instant success! The improvement in HD quality on the newer telly was amazing sharper and better colour. No more flickering or drop-outs. Totally recommend this in terms of ease-of-use (my cat could have installed it!) and value for money. Just buy it if you'resuffering as badly as I was. Go-on. Do it now!

Fully compatible with HD and all digital channels.
This signal booster worked straight out of the box. The interference on my smart TV had made watching particularly BBC channels almost impossible. After a lot of fiddling about with aerial connectors I eventually worked out the it was 4G and 5G mobile signals that were causing the problem. As my signal booster was pre-4G I decided on a new one. The picture quality is now excellent on all Freeview channels. But, beware, the product details on Amazon do not show or describe that it come with its own power converter and I ordered one that I didn't need and had to return. This product is excellent value for money.

Great booster.
Perfect, easy to set up and does the job. great clear picture at last after buying 2 other boosters that were a waste of money and didn’t work.

Actually made the signal worse...
We bought this booster to replace a 20 year-old Philips amplifier. Unlike the Philips (which still manages to boost the signal) this actually made it worse than it was with NO booster. No adjustable gain on it either. It might be the case we just landed a dud but at least returning it was painless. We are just going to stick with the Philips; it's not perfect but at least it's functional.
