The cream itself is not irritating, but its artificial, chemical fragrance is overwhelming and unpleasant, even a bit nauseating, and as usual with artificial scents, never seems to dissipate. It's similar to the typical scent pervading department stores. Why spoil what might be a perfectly good cream by adding this scent? The amount of cream per jar seems adequate but the cream is quite lightweight and airy, so just could be air. Will return.
