Viair 90005 Tank Port Fittings Kit , Gold

Purchased this set for my air tank for my air system on my truck. I have had no issues over the last year and I have had no problems using this. They still work as described since I purchased them . I recommend for anyone looking for a good set this is the way to go .

I used thes on my Onboard Air install on my Mercedes Sprinter 4x4. It ties in my ARB compressor to the 5 gallon Airmaxxx Aluminum tank and Hornblasters Safety Air horn. They sealed up tight using Locktite 567 with no leaks.

Used these fittings on my on-board air system and have been in use for over a year. I am confident in their durability and ease of use.

These were perfect for my 2.5G tank. Makes it easy to plan on what you're using your inputs/outputs for. They should really include these with the tank and just increase the price by a few bucks. Would make it easier, that's for sure. But the welds are solid and it doesn't have any leaks. Worth the added cost vs a generic larger tank with questionable quality assurance.

Just what I needed for my portable air tank. Good quality would buy again.

Brass fitting with pre-coated thread seal. The 1/4" tube fitting is a compression fitting (slide the compression nut on the tube, push the tube onto the barbed fitting, then tighten the compression nut, which tightens the tube to the barbed fitting). I'd never used on of these fittings, had used push-to-connect or ferruled compression fittings. This is in an area where it will have little movement, so it should be okay; we shall see. I will update otherwise. The tank drain works well and simply. Trick is to not over-tighten.
