These are really strong, maybe a little better than wood. They hardly bow at all under strain. I only needed one, so have four remaining. Still, the price I paid was far less than buying one wooden dowel from other vendors. I wish there was an option to just buy one, but given the price, I see how it's not economically feasible for the seller. Anyway, great product. The size by the way, is exactly 3/4"; very good.

Hello, this is for my son. He's creative. He really likes it. Im not sure yet what he making but I know it will be good. The color of the sticks are good so he can stain it. Bamboo nice and strong.

Well constructed laminate, smooth even diameter and straight, unfortunately not the stated 1” or 25,4mm diameter. For my project I need it to be closer than ~1mm off.

You need standard dowels for a standard job? These are your guys! They're made of bamboo, they are smooth, don't splinter much except for maybe a little on the edges. True to picture and measurements. I used them for structure when making earring hangers, worked perfect! ( cheap too ;) )

Bought a pack of 25. Every dowel is crooked which makes them difficult to use at full length.
