However, it looks like a fairly standard LED strip inside, so I’m sure you could find a handy electrician to rewire it at some point. As soon as I opened the box, I was pleased by the visual look of the lamp. When I plugged it in, I found the lamp part of it light up really well. It had several different options. There was a soft light setting and then it had a much brighter light that would be good to use for video and photos. It’s really flexible and I'm able to attach it to my desk. The light lamp part itself is quite long so it covers a good area. It is great for video production and to make my products I sell look much better with the use of this lighting. I feel it's really good value for money and really good quality. It's great that the lamp doesn't rely on batteries as I know I won't have to worry about having to constantly replace them. The USB lead from the lamp that goes to the computer is not too short.
