Nice flavored rice.
This shipped quickly. Has a nice flavor. It cooked up softer than I had expected for wild rice.

This is our favorite wild rice with a perfect texture and flavor.

Wood Parched
Flavor is excellent. Rice is quite small with tiny pieces making it more difficult to sort. Price is reasonable though compared to other wood parched wild rice.

Amazing flavor
This is very nice quality wild rice. You do have to have patience and lots of liquid to get just the right texture, but that is true for all wild rice. This comes with recipes which is quite helpful.

Lacks most of the wild rice flavor
Lacks most of the wild rice flavor but does cook much faster. I bought two bags and will donate one. Not recommended.

Parched rice at this price is a real bargain.
I have been using KC's and Red Lake rice for many years, I cook the whole pound and then freeze it in bags for quick side dishes. This is muvh better than non parched, it curls and is soft like real rice is supposed to be. Delighted to be able to find it on Amazon now. I simply rinse mine then put it in a covered roasting pan, cover an inch over the rice with boiling water and put it in 400 degree oven for half an hour. Shut the oven off and eat right now or it can stay there until you get home from work. Use broth instead of plain water, top with good butter and dinner is almost ready.

Tastes like nature and a piece of history 😁
I rinsed it well and boiled it with beef bouillon, green onions and garlic salt. It mostly absorbed the liquid but left just enough so it wasn't dry and you could add vegetables. Mmmmmm so good. I feel like I'm tasting history knowing I'm eating a historically indigenous food.😊 Very glad it was easy to get on Amazon so it smiled to.😁 Oh and it's slightly robust flavor but not strong and very tender. Love it.
