The bristles are incredibly slim – 17 times slimmer than standard bristles according to Colgate – and I can genuinely feel the difference. They reach deep between my teeth and along the gum line, removing plaque and debris that my old brush used to miss. The charcoal infusion is a nice bonus. While it's not a dramatic whitening treatment, my teeth do look noticeably brighter and feel smoother after a few weeks of use. The bristles are soft enough to be gentle on my gums (no bleeding or irritation), yet firm enough to feel effective. The slim brush head is easy to maneuver around my mouth, reaching those tricky back molars without gagging. The handle is comfortable with a good grip, even with wet hands. After a month of use, the bristles are still in great shape – no splaying or fraying. Love these because the bristles are super thin and get to places others don't. Although I use a sonic toothbrush too, these are good if you have orthodontics. Also have a very small mouth and regular brushes are big and clunky! Good value for a pack of four and you can't find them in shops anymore.

Really like these brushes. Although soft we think they do a good job of cleaning teeth and very easy on the gums. 4 pack great value.

These toothbrushes are perfect. I've been using them for many years and wouldn't choose any others. They are soft on the gums while still cleaning my teeth really well. Highly recommended!

Best manual tooth brush I've used, gets between the teeth

Probably a medium bristle. That said I had some other brands that were worse regardless of saying Soft on the package.
