I live in a dry climate, so that may make a difference. The mascara goes on pretty evenly with minimal clumps—except after it’s been open awhile, then it’s likely time to get a new tube. I like that it extends lashes without weighing them down, and I can apply a second coat for extra length. The biggest drawback is removal at the end of the day. This mascara requires using an oil-based eye makeup remover and some effort. (I like Clinique products.) Though, it comes off more easily than another version of mascara from this company. If I don’t get it all off at night, the shower seems to take off the rest in the morning, and I use a cotton swab to remove anything that’s left on my skin before applying a new coat. I actually have quite thick, long lashes.Because they are thick and long, mascaras drag/weigh them down after an hour or so, my lashes droop down and clump together. I really needed a mascara that would hold their curl. This one does that beautifully, the brush is amazing, it doesn’t pull out lots of thick mascara, just the perfect amount, and the wand is quite small so I can get into difficult to reach areas.I’ve attached two images, the first image of the collage is my lashes just after applying two coats. The images with both of my eyes, the left eye has mascara, the right one has none. The second picture is after a 6 hour wear, also baring in mind I’m the type of person who touches her eyes a lot throughout the day. I’ve tried so many different brands, but this one is the best. It doesn’t clump and glides on smoothly. The hold is amazing. Usually by 5 hours my lashes would be droopy. This mascara stayed for 12 hours.
