Gil Gerard: FINGER PUPPET!
Those of you who know Patton Oswalt exclusively from The King of Queens might be shocked at his standup comedy -- it definitely isn't fit for prime time on television. Like the best material from George Carlin and Richard Pryor, Oswalt's rants are very un-P.C., very raunchy, very hilarious and completely out of left field. His targets range from liquor ads to porno e-mails to how much he hates hippies. However, the best material deals with subjects we all are familiar with but take for granted: Paas Easter Egg kits, Tom Carvel ads, the Chipmunks Christmas album and, most memorably, the Black Angus Steak House commercials (run the gauntlet of angry food!). The best rountine, however, is probably a raunchy spoof of movie producer Robert Evans' ESPN radio ads. If you're a fan of Mr. Evans, Diane Keaton, Tom Wopat, Gil Gerard, Angie Dickinson or Loretta Swit, you probably won't appreciate the very raw humor of this album. Patton Oswalt, in this very P.C. era, has the guts to let it all hang out, even at the risk of "gasp!" offending someone. It's nasty, but it's unbelievably funny as well.

Comedy genius at the pinnacle
This is probably the funniest comedy album I've ever heard. I've listened to it dozens of times - while driving, working, with friends - and have seen Patton perform 3 or 4 times. He seems a lot less funny lately, but I wish him the best.

Great, just not as good as 222
This is a great album, but you're better off getting 222 Live % Uncut . They're both from the same performance, but 222 is uncut so it has all the same bits plus soooooo much more.

Love to listen to this great story teller
Mr. Oswalt is a great story teller, mimic and funny man. For me not all of his stuff is ha ha funny. But I really enjoy just listening to him. He is very intellegent, on point and amusing.

We're Here, We're Queer, ......APPLES!!!
Hilarious Patton Oswalt album well worth the price. I've listened to this baby atleast 20 times now and the laughs keep coming. Do beware the evil Amazon Vinyl Shippers though since they beat the vinyl demons out of your album before they send it out, doing some hard to the sleeve (though the record was mint). WACKIDY-SCHMACKIDY-DOOOOooooo!

Surprisingly awful cash-in attempt
I was shocked at how bad this was -- I love Patton and think "Werewolves and Lollipops" is one of the greatest comedy albums of all time, so I figured this would at least be worth having even if it couldn't meet that lofty standard. But instead it seems like a shameless attempt by someone to cash in on his success by recycling random bits and pieces of subpar early material -- very little of his usual wit, intelligence, and story-telling ability are on his display, it's mostly just juvenile shock tactics. Not sure who authorized this release or if Patton had anything to do with it, but ugh, avoid it like the plague and get "Werewolves" or "Finest Hour" instead.

Patton is a versatile comic.
Patton Oswalt is one of the few comics who can detail a story through his point of view in such a way that will have you crying with laughter. He does it several times in this comedy set. Not for the reserved crowd I'd say.

He gets better.
I have liked ever P. Oswalt album but this feels like it's a little weak in comparison to some of the later ones. It has it's moments, to be sure, but it's just not as comfortable to me as the rest.
