Great value for the money.
I’m very happy with this large metal chicken coop overall! The size is great, and it provides plenty of space for my chickens to move around comfortably. Installation was surprisingly easy — the instructions were clear, and the improved pole connections really helped speed things up. I was able to put it together without much hassle. One thing that really impressed me was the coated wire mesh. I didn’t expect that detail at all, and it looks much nicer than standard wire. It gives the coop a clean, polished appearance and feels like a thoughtful upgrade. If I had one suggestion, it would be to make the wire a bit thicker. While it seems fine for everyday use, I do have some concerns about whether it could fully withstand attacks from larger predators. That said, for the price, the quality and features you get are excellent. With the sturdy steel frame, waterproof cover, and overall design, this coop is a great value for the money.

Great Coop, Easy Setup with a Few Simple Improvements
This chicken coop was very easy to assemble, and the overall structure feels solid once fully set up. The size is great for chickens, ducks, or even rabbits, and the cover provides good protection from sun and rain. One tip: I highly recommend adding extra zip ties at the joints to make the structure more secure and stable. It only takes a little extra time but makes a big difference. Also, the latch is a bit short, especially if your ground is uneven—it can sometimes come loose. I suggest adding an extra hook or tying it with a rope for better security, especially at night. Always make sure the door is fully closed and secured. Overall, very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it with these small improvements!

Not high end but worth it for the price.
You are paying for the base frame and door only - the rest of it is garbage, YOU WILL NEED MODIFICATIONS. Check reviews for how people modified theirs. Here's what I did: I used it to house my vegetable garden and keep squirrels, chipmunks etc out. Frame is very easy to put together with two people. You can walk it around if you need to move it. The chickenwire and zip ties that come with this coop are trash. I bought heavy duty hardware cloth separately and "sewed" it on using both galvanized wire and steel zip ties (be careful of sharp edges if youre keeping animals). The roof will sag at the corners if you don't add an extra bar/T clamp like another person shared in her review. I layered up the cheap chickenwire and used it to line the floor so nothing could dig in, then covered with dirt and mulch. Dig those walls into the ground (friend also buries broken glass for her coop), added a brick perimeter too for good measure, used U shaped trampoline stakes to hold the structure down. For the gaps in the door you can use greenhouse panel to close them off. It is easy to cut. Drill holes in the panel and use the wire/metal zip ties to secure to the door frame. The lock that comes with the coop is also trash. I zip tied two blocks of wood onto the door and frame and screwed on a door latch i bought separately (Its a gravity lock so I put a string in case I accidentally locked myself in). I also used a gate anti-sag kit to strengthen the door and keep it from warping. The entire setup has worked all summer with no issue. Nothing got in except me and the bees!

Good value for customization
I didn’t buy this as a chicken coop—I’m using it as a base for a garden enclosure long term. Right now it’s just set up as-is, not fully reinforced yet, but I’ve seen other reviews and photos where people added hardware cloth and made it much more secure. The size works well for my backyard and gives me a good starting frame for what I plan to build. It’s easy to set up and useful as a base, though it feels a bit light, so I’ll probably reinforce it for wind later. Overall still a good value if you plan to customize it.

Tiny 5/8" poles!
This is the biggest scam I have ever bought on amazon. These are about 5/8 inch diameter THIN poles! Slightly over 1/2 inch. So flimsy my toddler can push it and bow these poles and bend them to the point of snapping if she fell or leaned on it hard enough. So good luck when a raccoon or even a stray dog comes over and LIGHTLY pushes on this chicken run. This is not what I paid for. Even the photos in this listing show standard 1-3/8" poles. and "snowproof". LOL that's a joke. there's no way these skinny poles will even handle rain, let alone snow. I want my money back for this. The entire system comes in ONE skinny box. I was waiting for another box to be delivered because I thought there's no way all those STANDARD poles would fit in that small box. Well, surprise, they scammed and sent flimsy skinny 5/8" poles. I have bought one of these before - not from this company, but another company on Amazon, and the poles were standard sized, making the entire setup very sturdy and heavy and it came in two separate boxes because it's so big. The chicken wire it comes with is terribly thin AND it doesn't even cover the length of each section of the top. You have to split it half and half and then ziptie in between, making not only more work for you to do, but also making it even less protection because you've created a big seam. The door that you install to this is a joke because its so flimsy that you can so easily push on the bottom or top corner to get in. Im having to order more latches and then rig them to fit around these 5/8" poles because NOONE sells even 1" butterfly latches. They're all for standard 1-3/8" poles. The latch it comes with is the tiniest latch I've ever seen. Almost looks like something from a doll house. It also took so long to ship and receive. Came on the very last day of the delivery window. It didn't even ship out until a week after I purchased it. So I guess it just sits in their order queue until the last minute until they finally ship it 2 days before the last day of the delivery window? This product is a joke and a SCAM and will never protect my chickens. I now see other reviewers are saying the same thing: Some receive the standard size and others receive this skinny size. Do not buy this from this company. I will be contacting amazon to get a refund due to false advertising. This company makes small businesses look bad.

Functional, but not great quality
To preface, I have purchased runs in this style previously so that it my comparison. They work well on our current property and are easily moved. Building This was simple and straightforward to put together, instructions are clear and with two people, was completed in about an hour and a half. Quality This is the poorest quality I have purchased. The poles are a metal that is easily bent, 5 of the poles were bent slightly, right from the box (it looked like something may have been set on it during transit) and my husband was able to straighten with his hands. The door has about an inch and a half gap all the way around, and chicks can easily pop through them. I had to place a board in front of it, until they grow out. The latch does not sit right on the Frame and is easily bent, just from using it as intended. The chicken wire is decent quality and plenty is provided. Overall if you just need a pen to hold small animals this is decent. But I do not believe it will hold up long term and a determined enough predator could easily break through.

Use the chicken wire to your advantage during installation
First, I'm giving it 5 stars because for $200, it's fantastic. If you want a sturdy, bear proof run, you'll need to build it with wood and hardware cloth, and prayers. This size will set you back at least a thousand bucks and require much more time and effort to build. This is a lightweight, inexpensive run to keep chickens in, not to prevent predation. I built this as a run to attach to my coop so my birds have more freedom but are still fenced so they can't scratch up my newly planted gardens. We are also done tripping in their little ankle busting dust baths that they make all over our property! I'm using an automatic door to allow them access to the run during the day. At night, they'll be safely tucked into a secure coop my husband built with... You guessed it... Wood and hardware cloth. The run goes together easily enough if you are careful to use the correct poles and place them correctly. It's also easy to move said poles when you realize you put them in the wrong way. Everyone is saying that they used an abundant amount of zip ties and this is why I came to leave a review. The chicken wire easily wires to itself. Snip a little section and wrap around and around a few times. Wear good gloves. I also wrap it around the poles and use the wire to attach to itself. It also comes with a really long piece of wire that is used to keep the roll in place. Use that too! I find it much easier to wire it to itself, and to use wire instead of all those zip ties. I use a few zip ties for additional help and for holding things in place while I cut the wire and get the tension in the right places. But for the majority of the attachment, use the wire itself! I'm also going to modify the build just to give the roof a little more support. I plan to run a cable parallel to the middle support bar on the top maybe 2 ft on each side just to prevent the wire from sagging. For the price, this is a great addition to my existing coop.

Sturdy and Spacious
This coop is surprisingly well-bult for a DIY kit. The galvanized steel frame with extra support feels incredibly sturdy, and the oxford cover truly repels rain. Hexagonal mesh keeps predators out while maintaining airflow. Assembly is manageable with he included guide. Roomy enough for chickens, ducks, or rabbits. Excellent quality for the price.

Enclos a poule
