This shampoo is absolutely nothing special. Yes, I was in love with Cactus and was hoping this would be somewhat of a replacement. Not even close. I could have used a $15 shampoo from drugstore and gotten same results.

My hair is very fine and it doesn't take a lot to weigh it down. I have been using their Blue which I like but after 3 days my scalp starts to itch from the build up of dead skin-n-conditioner. This does not do that at all!! Right after my first use of this 3-in-1 formula I was unable to wash my hair for 7 days due to back/hip injury, and there was no itching or build-up that entire time! I couldn't believe it - first time in my life a shampoo/conditioner left my scalp and hair clean that long [I am 70 decades old]. Yes, this is expensive but well worth it for me.

I'm a huge fan of R+Co's premium haircare products and their Biotin shampoo and conditioner are my go-to. I have fine hair, but lots of it, that's color-treated, which I only rarely use post-shower product or heat styling on.The idea of being able to use just one product and have my hair come out conditioned, defrizzed and volumized at the same time is tempting. So, did it work? Well, the answer is kind of.This won't replace my normal shampoo and conditioner, but for gym bag, travel or days I'm just extra tight on time, this worked remarkably well for a single-step product. My hair wasn't quite as smooth or soft as when using a separate conditioner, but it felt clean, and had nice shine and volume, without frizz or static.All in all, this performed above my expectations and past shampoo-conditioner combine experience.
