CURL FRESH definer silicone-free soft-hold styling cream

I'm so glad they reformulated this. The original version worked well but was runny and the scent was overwhelming. This new version is more like a cream, and while it still has a fairly strong scent, it fades quickly. Works wonders on my curly, fine hair. Holds curls without the need for any additional product.

I purchased this before it’s the Best curl cream but when I ordered it here it was watered down totally liquid NOT THE SAME

This product is so watery that it should not be in a tube. It is unusable in a tube since it just flows out everywhere. This product is in no way a cream. It's the consistency of chocolate milk. Returning. Update: I did not return this product. Once my hair dried with this product in, I found that I like what it does for my hair. It leaves my hair soft with defined curls which last for a few days (with the help of a silk pillowcase and my hair up in a pineapple at night). I'm still quite frustrated dispensing the product though. It should be in a pump bottle, not a tube. It's far too thin and just runs out of the tube.

One of two things have happened...one the company has changed the product to leave you with water instead of a styling cream. Impossible to work with, 99% water, wasteful, and does nothing to hold your hair, I paid $28 dollars for water which made my hair nothing but wet. I have emailed the company to see if this is a new formula. The other thing that could have happened is that half the product was empty and the rest replaced with water. I want my money back. Don't spend your hard earned money on a product that does nothing and is majority h2o. I was either scammed or the product has changed and rendered it useless.

I rarely write reviews but had to given the price point and frustration. The consistency of this cream is literally that of water, you cannot hold it in your hands at all. Upon opening on the first use, I wasted and spilled a significant amount down the sink cabinet and onto the floor (see photo). I was not expecting water to come pouring out, despite shaking it prior to opening. It was always somewhat watery but seems to have gotten significantly worse. I will more than likely transfer this to a spray bottle and dilute with water. It's impossible to use as a cream without wasting product. Please be aware of that so your money doesn't slip through your fingers (literally). I will update this review with a video next time I use it for reference While I'm very happy with the results on my hair as a product, it's awful and not logical to be sold as a cream. Hopefully the brand will rectify this for their customers in the future. No one would be happy to spend $30 on a hair product only to lose 1/4 of it onto the ground.

9.30.22~ If I had to run out of the house on Fire~ I'd grab this, the cat & my Haus Corset lip gloss (not in that order) You can always get clothes & a toothbrush but to have good hair is priceless. Can't do justice to how good this is but I'll try. The Praises~ *Silicone Free with Results like a silicone-based product *Adds body & volume without being sticky. The kind of body you have to tease or clip-in extensions to get *Creates air died curls, as the only product on 2B/C frizz prone hair. Like real defined curls that are crunchy-ish at 1st but comb out like waves * Holds iron created waves on dry hair that last & feel soft * Smooths flat ironed hair & keeps the root lift body The only thing it doesn't do on its own is fight humidity. Used my leave-in 1st then flipped my head & scrunched from root to ends with 'AG'. Got same amazing results. Ah-Mazing. Even though the only styling product & leave-in I needed was 'Curl Fresh Styling Cream', tried with some of my stand-bys & go-tos, to see if it plays well with others. Works best if 'AG is the last step for body, hold & definition. Normally with my aging, thinning hair that still has piles of curls, I have to use root product & a curl or straighten product. With 'AG' it was all I needed for both. Roots to ends. Can't believe my hair can easily look this good again Without Silicone

Overall it is good , but it leaves residue on the hair ,that is a little bit bothering

I was sceptical when trying this but have not been disappointed whatsoever. It just does the job and leaves my hair soft with lovely curls. Yes it is very liquid but I just use a smaller amount into the palm of my hand and then pour some more again if I need more. I have gotten many complements on my curly hair since using it. I will buy again and again. I hope it doesn't get changed with the new version. Probably the term cream just needs to change to thick liquid.

Holds my curls for several days between washing. The fragrance is light -not overpowering like many salon brands. I have purchased several items from AG’s Curl Fresh line.

Too watery. I had purchased this product before the formula was changed. I was quite happy with it then and would have definitely recommended it. I cannot endorse this version. I hope that they can improve on it in the future.

Like the reviews said. It’s very watery. I should have listened. It’s too watery to the point you can’t use it.
