Do these dream pairs men's sandal soles leave "black marks" on wood or vinyl floors?

no, not that I have noticed...love these sandals for fit and look

Where are they made ?

I think China, but mine are extremely well made and durable enough to wear daily for 10 months out of the year that area weather allows and a pair lasts me walking mainly on concrete about 2 years. No rub spots, fully adjustable and not real heavy unlike Teva's.

what material are they ? leather? synthetic? combo?

They seem to be rubber outsoles, the bottoms, and the lacing and top is synthetic material suitable and durable for walking, hiking, in water and such. Velcro straps, obviously. Comfortable. I have no complaints and given the way they appear to be made expect to get at least 3 to 5 years out of 'em. 'Course, this will vary with individual use. Nice value for the money spent. IMHO, of course.

I wear a size 10.5 wide so would an 11 be better or is there enough adjustment in the straps to go with a 10?

I believe the 10.5 would work. I wear a 12 and that’s what I bought. Fits perfectly
