Review: Highly recommend - This product was recommended to me by my vet for my adult male cat. He always had flaky skin that got worse in the wintertime; almost dandruff-like. Everytime I'd brush him, there would be tons of flakes of skin intertwined with his hair. While it never appeared to bother my cat, I didnt want to let it go forever. I have been using this product for approximately 2 months and my cat has absolutely zero skin flaking anymore. I saw improvement within the first week and it appears his skin is completely healed at this point. His coat has also become much softer, much more shiny, and he appears to shed less. I will continue giving this to him each day with his food through the rest of his life! Highly recommend.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it have it have to be poured over food like the instructions say, or can it be administered directly into mouth?**
A: If your cat likes the fish oil, it can go directly into his/her mouth. Unfortunately, we do not like this liquid supplement as well as we liked the capsules. The capsules don't seem to be available any more. The liquid, for whatever reason, is messier and seems to have a stronger smell. We only used part of the bottle and discarded the rest. Wish they'd bring back the capsules!

**Q: What does it contain to prevent oxidation? Vitamin E or Chemicals ?**
A: The Welactin uses mixed tocopherols as a preservative. After my own research and from information I got from my vet, these are Vitamin E derivatives and isn't considered to be a chemical preservative. Hope this helps!

**Q: The Wellactin feline comes in either a bottle of 60 capsules or a 4 oz bottle of liquid.  Which would be more economical?**
A: It depends how quickly you will use up the liquid once the bottle is open. For me it starts smelling rancid after a month but I use mine up in a month because I have multiple cats on it daily. Therefore the 4 oz bottle is more economical for me plus it's easier to pour vs. twist and open the capsules. If you don't use up the liquid in a month or so, I would stick with the capsules as they have a long shelf life.

**Q: How long does it last if using daily?**
A: Depends on how many cats you are dispensing it to. The total bottle is 118 ml and for cats over 6 lbs. you give 1.25 ml (approx. .25 teaspoon) daily. for cats 6 lbs. and under it's 1.25 ml every other day. so for just one cat over 6 pounds, a bottle should last around 94 days.

This product was recommended to me by my vet for my adult male cat. He always had flaky skin that got worse in the wintertime; almost dandruff-like. I have been using this product for approximately 2 months and my cat has absolutely zero skin flaking anymore. My cat has a tender tummy so I had to back down to a half dose after a few days of full dose. He has done well, and I notice his coat is somewhat better, and he sleeps better.
