Without Question the BEST Option for an Internal Drive for Your Xbox. Very Happy with my purchase!
This product worked absolutely perfectly and as shown. I have the latest Xbox E model (I believe it's called) not the slim - ie if you were to go to the store today to buy one brand new that's the model I have although I'm told this drive would have been compatible for the slim as well.Installation was a breeze. On the bottom of the Xbox is a little switch you pull toward yourself and the vent opens up to reveal a slot for the drive. Slide the drive in and you're in business. Make sure you do this while the Xbox is off of course. Before purchasing this drive I used to switch in and out USB Sticks which worked for about a month until I realized no matter how big the stick you put in, Xbox limits each USB Stick to 32GB and you can only use two at a time. I found myself going to the store dropping $30 bucks a pop each time I bought a USB stick and the thought occurred to check and see how much a drive would be from Xbox themselves. In retrospect I wish I had bought the drive straight away because the hundred dollars it cost me on Amazon is about two-thirds less the cost of all those USB Sticks I went and bought.Lastly I should mention as I myself was shopping for a drive I noticed other companies offered similar drives for thirty dollars cheaper or so. My recommendation would be NOT to go that way. A bad drive can kill an Xbox faster than a bullet. My slim I owned before fell victim to a corrupted drive. However long its been since I bought the newest model 360 its been a tank with no issues and adding the drive to the mix about a month ago its a perfect system. Don't cheap out on the drive for your system as its the brain of the machine and most important component if you ask me. That said, always go with the original manufacturer. That's what I did and couldn’t be happier. I ordered the drive on a Sunday and plugged it in my machine Tuesday. Well worth the $100.

Must have for Xbox 360!
I received an Xbox 360 for Christmas and was a bit dismayed to learn that it was only the 4 GB hard drive. I definitely needed to expand the memory but was unsure how to do so. I did a bit of research and found the best way was to buy a new hard drive at whatever desired memory size.I immediately searched Amazon for an Xbox 360 hard drive and saw this product, a 500 GB hard drive at such an amazing, affordable price! I compared many other prices of the same product and this was by far the best deal. I was advised to only purchase a Microsoft brand hard drive, as I had heard that some had complications when purchasing a different brand hard drive for their Xbox. So I was equally excited that not only was this hard drive for sale at a great price but it was also a MIcrosoft brand hard drive as well. The hard drive is completely authentic, the Microsoft logo is affixed to the box, the contents of the box, and also on the hard drive itself. Installation took only about 10 seconds, it was very simple to remove the old 4 GB hard drive and literally slide in the new 500 GB hard drive. Simple installation, authentic Microsoft brand that is completely compatible with Xbox 360, and a bargain price are all reasons I immediately purchased this product! I have had absolutely no issues when using this hard drive and I continue to use it to this day. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to expand and increase the size of their Xbox 360 hard drive! Don't look any further, this was by far the best price I found after much comparison, and this was absolutely authentic as well. Product is great and exactly as advertised, promptly shipped as well!

Great hard drive, just get the right cable
I wish I had done this sooner. I upgraded because I have been downloading all the free games off xbox live (Games for Gold). I used to pick and choose which ones I would keep or pass on to save space. As some point, I decided to just download all of them to play them "later". This is twice the size of the last hard drive but I plan to fill this up quickly.Installation was easy but I did have to watch a clip how to open the side. That little lever blends in perfect. Very easy to pull old one out and slide the new hard drive in. I had an older transfer cable for the original hard drives which was NOT compatible. So I had to spend an extra $20 to get one. The new cable is compatible with old xbox hard drives and the slim hard drives.Since transferring old files will take several hours, I left and came back later to see it hadn't finished. Apparently hexic came installed on the hard drive, because it was duplicate files, it prompted if I wanted to overwrite. I probably wasted 6 hours waiting for it to finish because it stopped to wait for my answer. Just FYI, don't leave it run overnight and think it will finish. You might be prompted at least once, what to do with duplicate content.

The new norm.
This is the new standard of Xbox Hard Drives. The E edition 360 bundles are now mostly 500gb instead of 250gb. 500 is the 360 norm now. So I felt I had to stay up to date. Feels a bit weird, as the standard for Xbox One is 500gb as well (even though I've got a 1TB special edition).Surprisingly, I was running out of space on my 250, so I sold my250 and bought the 500. Made the $110 price more worth it. Games with gold were a factor. Also, over time I was buying my disk games when they went on sale, and all at once I traded em in. $150 at GameStop for a decent collection. Not bad, huh?I thought about a Chinese knock-off version, but I wanted flawless compatibility and guaranteed longevity. So far it's been fully compatible and fast. After formatting, it's about 460 gigs. Not a bad drop, considering the OS and such. Overall, the price is steep, but official Microsoft is gonna be that way. Try to trade in your old peripherals, games or hard drive so that you can grab this. Stop being a filthy casual :-).Happy gaming.

Fake Hard Drive
This is not an original Microsoft product and not in a retail pack. Setting up was easy and could be done by my 12 year old son. But we could not instal Need for Speed even after quite a few attempts.I had got in touch with the seller who promised replacement of drive as it was within 3 months warranty but he stopped responding to calls. I recommend that you buy only Microsoft gaming accessories and not from unscrupulous sellers like these.

Excelente producto
Tenía un disco de 250GB y ya me hacía falta reemplazarlo por uno de mayor capacidad, muy fácil de instalar y automáticamente te pide actualización del sistema.
