CalphalonPremier Hard-Anodized Nonstick 12-Inch Fry Pan with Lid

I love my pan. Truly and madly love it. It's a great size and the sides are tall enough that I don't constantly and accidentally flick food out of it. I've been using it very frequently for about 6 months now and it shows no wear. If you're like looking for a great large pan with a lid, I recommend this one!

We have used this pan for exactly one year now and have cooked just about everything that you would possibly use a frying pan for. The pan material is much heavier than most conventional pans. Temperature is more even over the entire surface and food cooks as well on the outer edges as well as in the center of the pan. It’s great for just about everything from bacon to steaks. Am going to get another one soon. My wife likes using olive oil in the pan to cook with on a lot of different foods. And this pan cleans up very well. The non-stick surface material on this pan is top notch quality. Can’t go wrong with this.

Bought this as a replacement for a much older same pan. Original was NOT dishwasher friendly and after years showed a lot of wear and tear on the bottom. I really like the new style and hope for years of great cooking.

I was really looking for the same type of Calphalon sauté pan I'd purchased before---with one change in mind---a long handle on one side and a helping handle on the other. I'd wanted a rounded bottom pan like my old one because I liked the way it cooked and that I could slide a silicone spatula easily under the food, but it was a little difficult to handle (even though I liked the ergonomic handles) because I always had to have two hands free to pick it up since it didn't have a longer handle on one side. I found this pan and decided to purchase it, since it's the same brand. What I've discovered is, this new pan's handles are not ergonomically designed; they're not as comfortable for me to hold because they're squared metal, and without the silicone comfort grips my old pan had. (I've enclosed pictures so you can see a difference between the two pans.) I generally lift a heavier pan closer in on the handle, for leverage---but this pan's long handle is designed in such a way that the pan cannot be lifted except to hold it further out because of a "V" separation attaching the pan. My older pan had the comfort grips and ergonomic handles which made it easier to pick up, alas having to use both hands though, to pour liquids or scoop out food. This frying pan doesn't have rounded sides like my older pan, and I don't know how easy it will be to use a spatula, so I'll post something if there's any issues when I begin using the pan. I've enjoyed my Calphalon products in the past; they're heavy duty and they seem to last quite a while. So, because this IS Calphalon, I'll keep and use the pan, but sure wish they'd take this hint and go back to making the handles "easier to handle". Thanks!

Bought this pan to match one I have since I often need to have two pans going at the same time.

This skillet is great. The coating had worn off on my old skillet. This one is completely non stick with eggs and everything else I've cooked. The bottom seems a little heavier and solid and completely in contact with the burner. I'm very happy with the new pan.

I had 2 that were a number of years old and I had problems with food sticking. Even though I babied those pans, they just did not hold up. The new one is improved and I love it. It's a little more shallow, but hasn't been a problem
