Good quality extrusion for workshop projects
Picked up this aluminum extrusion for building some custom workbench fixtures. The 2020 V-slot profile is versatile for all kinds of shop projects. Quality of the extrusion is good - no major blemishes or rough spots on the finish. The slots are clean and consistent which makes it easy to mount brackets and connectors. Length came as specified at 1000mm which worked perfectly for what I needed. The black anodized finish looks clean and professional. I've used it to build a couple jigs and assembly fixtures, and the rigidity is more than adequate for these applications. Lightweight but still strong enough for most workshop uses. Package came with two pieces which gave me some flexibility in how I used them. Price is competitive compared to similar products. If you're into building custom tools or fixtures for your shop, this type of extrusion is really handy to have around. Cuts cleanly with a hacksaw when you need to size it down.
