I purchased this castor oil originally to take orally and help with my digestion. But honestly it smelled so bad I thought it was rancid so I requested an exchange. Meanwhile I decided to use a little topically to see if it worked on the skin. The oil was very thick and rich. I tried it on the skin and the smell was still bad but I noticed after a short period the smell disappeared once it was in contact with the skin. I started using it almost daily when I got out of the shower. I have noticed a huge improvement in my skin especially on my face. Yes on my face! I have sensitive skin and it does not break me out. I use it at night as the last step in my routine (a little goes a long way!) I wake up with soft glowy skin. But the real surprise has been my hair. I have super curly non porous hair that is prone to breaking and split ends. My hair was dry, breaking, and lifeless. I started using this in my hair and my hair looks AMAZING! And it is growing like crazy and thicker! I use it mainly after a fresh shampoo on wet hair. I can't stand the smell to take internally but will continue to use everywhere else!

I love this product but this time it was sent in a plastic bottle. It's usually a glass bottle. I am going to switch it myself to a glass bottle myself but I wish they stayed with glass.
