Schumacher Electric 100A Car Battery Charger & Power Supply, 12V – INC100

This battery charger/flash programmer works great. It has a nice forum factor, quality cables, and an easy to understand interface. The noise from the cooling fans aren’t intrusive to me, but I can see why some people consider them loud. Don’t let that deter you. I’ve used this for Porsche PIWIS programming and it did what I needed it to do without issue.

I bought this so I could do software and programming updates on my F150. It has performed flawlessly so far! It is extremely well made, not like the plasticky consumer grade models. The fans sound like they’re high quality and they kick on as necessary.

Game Changer! Finally a name brand battery maintainer that supports module programming at a much better price point! Dealership has 20 plus year old Midtronic units that now longer meet amperage / voltage requirements necessary for programming, and they cost more than twice as much... other newer units available though GM Tools for dealers cost $1100.00 to $1400.00 ! This unit is larger than expected, but all aspects are heavy duty and appear well built.

I bought this charger mainly for vehicle's module flash. I am doing every day as my job in car dealership. Like it because it provides stable voltage right at the time depressing the Start button on the charger regardless the battery state-of-charge. My dealership has factory made charger available, but it needs time to recharge before being able to provide supply voltage for flash when the battery in vehicle state-of-charge going low. Otherwise, this charger doing recharge faster then other products I used to use.

Purchased to use for programming/coding newer BMW's. First unit that arrived would shut off as soon as you put a load on it, then would take about a minute to reboot. Returned to Amazon. Second unit arrived has been working great. Did a 24hr programming session the other day and it did not skip a beat.

This unit Is garbage I waste my money and my time I bought one for programming and flashing Euro cars after six months of purchases the power supply stop working the display turn on but not power outlet at all. I had to pay 75.00 in the USPS to send it to the guarantee because shumancher did not want to send me a shipping labor after a month in guarantee I receive it and the power supply continued with the same problem now I have to pay 75.oo per shipment again . Shumancher's customer service is so bad!! I do not recommend this equipment they say it is new but they are remanufactured from China. It's over pricing I paid 700.00 + IVU

I needed a solid supply when running diagnostics on my Jaguar, I am very impressed as I can set the voltage required and it remained constant while performing multiple load and stress tests. As expected, this unit has some weight to it and comes with heavy duty cables but portable. As I'm use to the larger wheeled units, I'm going to have to make or acquire a stand or cart for easier functionality in the shop. To date, I have nothing negative to point out with my experiences when using.

Principalmente la uso para conservar un voltaje estable y corriente suficiente en los vehiculos a los que se les realizara una programacion o codificacion de los ECUs. Mantiene muy bien el voltaje en lo que lo dejes ajustado,personalmente lo dejo a 14.2v y es muy estable, con variacion de menos del 5%. Es compacta, muy robusta, facil de manejar y ajustar, muy intuitiva y los cables de alimentacion tanto para la unidad como para el vehiculo son de alto amperaje y muy robustos. En general es una excelente compara, sin embargo no pienso utilizarla para cargar baterias. Solamente la utilizo para mantener el voltaje estable y en ese sentido estoy completamente satisfecho.
