The display is showing 0.0 volts. What is wrong?

If the display is showing 0.0 volts, the clamps may not be making a good connection to the battery or the connections are reversed. Alternatively, the vehicle battery may be defective.

The battery is connected and the unit is on. Why isn’t there any output?

This indicates that the battery is severely discharged. If your battery has less than 1 volt of charge, you must press and hold the Start/Stop button for 5 seconds.

Why did the unit suddenly shut down and refuse to turn back on?

The unit has gotten too hot and the INC100’s thermal protection shut it off for safety reasons. Unplug the power cord and let the unit cool down. Make sure there is nothing obstructing the air flow to the fans.

Why does the fan make a rattling noise?

Dirt and grime have built up on the fan, causing it to be unbalanced. Blow the dirt and grime off the fan blades using compressed air.

Why won’t the display and LEDs light up?

The INC100 is not receiving power. Make sure the unit is securely plugged into a 120V AC outlet. Then check for an open fuse or circuit breaker supplying the AC outlet.
