Every ENT will advise you that the first thing you should do if you have silent reflux, you must give up coffee. But I love my coffee. So I decided to investigate low-acid options. The French roast is delightful and satisfying - not intense enough to be chewy, but saved me from having to give it up entirely.

This is a low acid coffee. It does not give me heartburn or acid reflux. That being said, the flavor is a little lacking. It tastes a bit like watered down coffee. It has caffeine, however, so it does the job. Might not be the best option for someone who drinks their coffee black. I add flavor and swerve.

I purchased this Puroast Low Acid House Blend coffee based on a recommendation from a friend. I had high hopes for its low acid qualities and great taste for myself and my senior mom who suffer from acid reflux. When opening the package I noticed an unusual odor. Strong, burnt, dirty smell. I brewed 2 cups using a keurig machine. The coffee was terrible. Then I made a 10 cup pot following the recommended 2T per cup. The coffee was very dark. The taste was burnt, washed out and bitter. Tried again using 1.5T and it was no better. My mom brewed 4 cups and couldn’t drink it. I gave package to my friend who enjoys Puroast. She made a pot and immediately noticed a difference in smell and taste. Compared to a bag of the same coffee she had, this bag was NOT of the quality she has experienced with the brand. Reading other reviews, I also must say there is a quality problem with Puroast production. I was hoping for a great cup of low acid coffee. After several taste tests of this bag of coffee by myself and others, it is not one that I would purchase again or recommend.

I have used this coffee for a few years now, but it has become gross this past year. Idk if it's the production or that it's being sold through Amazon and maybe not exactly from the company. It has a terrible smell, the taste isn't good anymore and very inconsistent, and I actually get heartburn from it. I will be buying directly from the company in the future to see if there is any difference.

This is a great coffee.My husband has slient reflux.But he still gets up at night because he has to clear his throat constantly.He loves coffee so I was tired of buying coffee that upset his throat. This coffee is low in acids.Tip if you have this problem don't drink coffee on a empty stomach eat first.Mrs.B research products for our Health.

Love this low acid ground coffee-very smooth and full bodied flavor without the bitter, acidy taste. Easy on the stomach! Will definitely keep this in the pantry!
