NOT USB 3.0! Devices will only connect as USB 2 speed. Work great for charging and are well made, but don't expect data transfers at USB 3.0. Both cables failed to connect at 3.0 speed, tried another brand with same device and port, and got 3.0 speeds.

Worked great at first, thick cord that seemed to be built very well. Until one day, my Note 8 noticed, that it wasn't providing fast charging. An even worse, was not charging my device, at the minimum level the phone requires. A warning message would pop up, stating that, the original cord wasn't in use.

Just what is needed to transfer stuff via the new standard using an older computer. The current generation does not have a problem with the new type 'c' ports. The older generation that only has the standard USB ports has a problem connection a device with a type 'c' port. This cable is the answer. It will connect that USB 3.x port up to the new type 'c' port.Some devices use their type 'c' port to charge the battery (think cell phone), this cable is for you. Plug the standard USB end into the charger, and the type 'c' end into the device needing a charge.

I bought these almost a year ago (i feel like), and they are going strong. I have them plugged into a fast-charging usb adapter, and it definitely can handle fast charging. I would not recommend using this on a regular usb port/charging adapter as it will not charge at all. It is also being used as our main charger, and it has not broken yet. The ends are slightly bent do to our use, but it still has not broken. Would buy again without hesitation.

These things are actually pretty decent. I really had to do a little research on type c chargers. They all aren't the same, some charge slower and some charge faster. These are obviously the fast charging ones. One last thing that I love about these chargers is when you plug them in, they click to let you know that a connection has been established.

If you like missing work because your phone doesn't charge properly overnight and your alarm doesn't go off in the morning because your phone is dead than these are the cables for you!

Great Cables!... I'm using them to charge my nintendo switch with my current backup battery 10,000mA using the USB A (2.1Amp) output.... Is not as fast like the original charger (USB C quick Charge), but I was able to play Zelda BOTW around 9 hours in airplane mode.
