They do run small. She wears a regular 9/10. I purchased the 12, they are a little big on her but once winter comes and she wears her footed PJ's they will fit perfectly. I do not recommend wearing them up or down steps because she really does not have control over the slipper, so she knows to take them off when doing so. 4 stars because of the uncertainty of what size to order.
