Again not used this particular sensor as yet but used others in the range using home assistant and they are brilliant

Works with Echo 4th generation and most importantly doesn't drop connection unlike another cheaper brand did. I'm using this with a Honeywell DualTec pir relay output to trigger motion on my driveway and alert Alexa to announce there is motion detected.

Bought this to replace a Samsung Door sensor which got damaged- really liked the idea of the AAA batteries ( as the button battery on the Samsung is really awkward to replace) Connected easily to the Smart Things Hub so was initially delighted - however the device would disconnect from the hub after around 12 hours, persisted resetting several times with the same results, so sadly having to return . I note others have had the same problem so cannot recommend.

Great Product. Fast setup with clear instructions. Strong adhesive is keeping it firmly to the door. No need for an extra hub if you have an Echo device with a ZigBee hub inside.

When opening and closing they flap between states instead of reliably switching just once.

I am using these with a Sonoff Zigbee dongle for Home Assistant and it paired easily with no issues. I like that it's magnetic, so if you have a metal door or frame the installation is painless. Otherwise, they come with optional double sided stickers on the back for mounting, along with some screws. I've set this up to alert me if the door is left open, and it is working well so far. Will update on battery life once I've owned it longer.

Funciona de lujo, raros son los que pueden tener tal espacio de detección. Además, usando pilas normales, fácil cambiarlas y recargarlas. La única pega es que usando pilas normal, pues es un poco más grande, claro.

Einrichtung mit homeassistant hat problemlos funktioniert. Verbindung zu Router ohne Probleme. Somit Aussage einer 2 Sterne Rezension dass kein mesh möglich ist schlicht falsch. Sendet Zustand permanent nicht nur wie Sensoren anderer hersteller beim Öffnen oder schließen. AAA Batterie kann leicht gewechselt werden. Einziger Nachteil ist dass er etwas größer ist wegen der Batterien aber das ist aufgrund dass Daten alle paar Minuten gesendet werden verständlich. Hab noch nichts besseres gefunden und schon viele Sensoren ausprobiert.
