Truly stainless... I wish they were cheaper, but can't find a stainless option otherwise. Ignoring the price, it's perfect. Think of it as a functional jewel. It's pretty to look at, and functional. Worth it in the end.

I’m very satisfied with these straps. They’ve been exposed to salty Florida air for 5 months and are not showing any corrosion. Good quality.

We've gone through countless cam straps (and rachets) around our boat, dock, and motorcycles. Coastal Florida is just a brutal environment for most metals. We finally, after long searching, found these and the similar stainless steel ratchet straps. FINALLY. They would be high quality even if they were not stainless.

I had bought some cheap cam straps before and they are almost unusable after a year of holding up my kayak in the carport in Florida. They must have been zinc. So I made sure when I bought these that they guaranteed they were stainless steel buckles and they look like they are. The straps are never as important as those little buckles. I have another set that is NRS and they were they are still doing okay, but I couldn't find them on Amazon or I didn't like the price once I did find them. I don't remember exactly which is which. But this is a good deal.

The buckles appear to be well made however the strap material is much thinner than my original strap. Time will tell how long it lasts on the boat. There is no way of determining the thickness of these straps without purchasing them first.

Great heavy duty straps and hardware...But were 2 1/2 feet short of the 12' length described and ordered. Had to return. Hope you have better luck!
