The surface I need to seal is wet. Do I have to wait for it to dry first?

No. Lexel bonds to wet or dry surfaces and is waterproof as soon as it is applied, which is the point of it. Clean off dirt or oil first with a household cleaner and rinse. On frosty or icy surfaces, wipe with alcohol before you start.

Yes. Give it 24 to 48 hours before latex paint or stain, and 3 to 4 weeks before oil-base paint or stain. Silicone cannot be painted at all, which is the usual reason people switch.

Will the clear version yellow or cloud over time?

It is built not to. Clear Lexel measures under 13 NTU, roughly 19 times clearer than silicone, and it resists UV rather than ambering the way clear silicone tends to after a season or two outdoors.

What will Lexel not stick to?

Skip polyethylene, silicone, waxes, TPO, polypropylene, Teflon coatings, cultured marble and Kynar. It will dissolve polystyrene foam insulation, so keep it off that. It sticks well to EPDM and vulcanized rubber but can wrinkle them, so test a patch.

How cold can it be when I apply it?

Down to 0F surface temperature, and the cured bead holds from -30F to 200F. Above 95F, large beads can bubble slightly, so work out of direct sun on hot days.
